US Gold is awarded for games that are destructive to the testing environment. Divinity crashes multiple times and has horrible connection issues.

I hoped you liked my silly dialogue voicing in Earthbound and Final Fantasy USA. Because FF6 is going to be even more silly. Especially since I can't read.

I have updated the blog to use a similar color scheme to the site, but don't be surprised if I keep making minor changes to it until I feel it's just right.

Kind of a slow month. The spot in the cat's eye is still there, but it's a bit smaller and is just white. It looks just like a scar. I don't really know what happened. There is zero redness and the blood vessels have all faded away. Going to take her to the vet eventually for annual shots and such, but can't afford that with everything else going on right now. At least she seems ok.

Working mostly on the next XXE and, like CH4 detailed, I've started getting into animation. Nothing super serious yet. I just retooled a ton of animations on Delphinium's platform thing. Here's an old gif I made of them. I've tweaked them more since then and added particles.

XXE 20 is now available!

I unfucked the mapster valkyrie. Major changes are -

- Fixed 3.0 m3 compatibility
- Adjusted proportions slightly (wing panels slightly fatter, wing body adjusted slightly)
- Fixed a ton of UV and normal issues (weird hard edges, engine nozzles didn't make use of most of their texture, engine blocks and nozzles both had UVW falloff and were black in areas they shouldn't have been, pretty amateur stuff even by my standards, also fixed some weirdness that showed up on the nose and circular area of the head, maybe an importer issue)
- Deleted a bunch of bones, apparently you don't need bones for animating this and none of them actually did anything.
- Removed duplicate attachments (they throw errors and contribute nothing)
- Fixed attachment naming schemes
- Welded all of the pointless open edges to save some verts
- Reset Xforms completely to eliminate some mesh issues
- Autosmoothed the mesh for better light response
- Redid the particles completely
- Added animations
- Added hittest and target volumes
- Fixed specularity
- Altered weapon placement so rockets come from the side bays and not from the wing bodies

Still gonna tweak with it, but whenever I make an Apex video if you've seen the old one you'll notice an immediate difference.

I am currently working on making a new Battlecruiser base for Apex. I took the swarm Hyperion model and am going from there. It is a rancid mess. So much clipping, backfaces, UV issues, and other lazy shit that all of 3 seconds of work fixes.

hey, videos on graphics and other technicalitys would be a great idea, I even think you should have done one sooner, it took me quite a while to catch on to the terms you were describing busted graphics with, and some of them I still don't fully understand. You making a tutorial on it while also ragging on the entire industry would be just what I need. And of course, this is one of the most interesting things about your LPs, breaking the game down with bug exploits, showcasing graphic & animation bugs and you speaking your mind about these things, so hell, a full video dedicated to that can only be great ;)
