Can't wait to see if the zerg have a supah weapon. I mean, if you could deploy a cerebrate and have it do cool things, that would r0x my b0x.

I like your speculation Warbringer.  If the Protoss' special distinction is a super unit like the Mothership, I would like to see the Zerg have some kind of special base defense.  Imagine if the Hive Clusters were to come alive and attack invaders!  Or they could employ some kind of cerebrate.  That would be cool.

For the Terrans I was thinking of some kind of mobile attack power.  Maybe a Super Silo that can strike a nuke anywhere on the map (warning issued for balance) or some kind of troop recall to any place on the map.

One of the articles states that the other races would not have a game mechanic like the mothership (probably meaning they don't have a unit that is limited to having a single one).

Also, are these forums loading abominably slow to anyone else?  :P

mines about 50-50

I know not all the races would have supah units, but I think a cerebrate makes absolute sense for the zerg. They can already have only 1, and it made zerg stronger in general when a cerebrate was present.

Also, been thinking, the hydralisk concept arts looks damn more evil, more deadly killing machine than an average hydralisk. Hopefully the player will be able to upgrade/evolve Hydras into Hunter Killers! In either case, so far the reimagined zergling and hydralisk both look completely awesome. Haven't had a good enough look at the mutas yet(i'd like to play around with them a bit), but they are looking good.

Can't wait for some more zerg info. How about a zerg units meant specically to kill those bastard protoss, like a giant zergling.....an ultra zergling...they can call them ultralisks! brilliant!

What would be a nice power of the Zerg would be able to infestate anything. Take an entire ship to an infested Zerg part. And the Terran have the ability to warp

Forum speed is usually fine for me as well.

Back on topic, a Cerebrate unit would be really sweet. Perhaps it could add extra defense or attack power to units near it, or use Psionic waves to disrupt or slow down the movement and attack speed of units somewhat close to it. That'd be really interesting.

A thought: the nydus worm....a unit or a building? If its a unit, it could be possible to reroute them, so you can have mobile tunnels.

Also, they don't require creep like the old canal, so that means i can unload lings in a protoss base if im sneaky enough! That would be unbalanced, so maybe there is a limited range? And you can kinda worm your way there. That would kick ass.

That'd be awesome, if it could pummel through a bunch of smaller units and run them over, or knock larger units aside. I mean- If the Mothership has.. This amazingly looking Black Hole (though I find the ability the ability to be a little.. Farfetched) which graphically looks amazing.. I'm sure they could do something as simple as ramming units. Especially with physics now in play.
