um well the in-game battlecruiser graphics also look too small to carry any marines; as was the case in SC 1 as well...

I think playability is more important than realism.  I prefer half and half though.  Do realism in cutscenes (in-game), playability when jumping to the gameplay.  That's the approach I was starting to take when I did the Mistiria map 1, and undoubtedly I will do the same thing when it comes to SC2.

The Zerg look amazingly.. AWEFUL. Not a single Zerg unit matches another and the buildings appear as if they were textured and modeled by amateurs as they don't even appear organic, they appear like plastic toys and also don't match in texture colors.

agreed, I like how some of the units looks, the buildings - units don't look unified though, otherwise the zerg units are fine for the most part.
