I went on a school laptop which uses the gma 950 (close to bottom) and it still runs the damn thing. Granted it's so delayed it's not even considered playing an RTS, but if there was a AOS map I could definitely play with 4 frames.

Everything looks damn ugly though.

So I guess the question is, should I still stack the PC >.>

As long as it isn't an Intel onboard or something like that it will probably run it. Albiet not very well. It will need to support hardware T&L and many intel onboard don't even support directx 7 T&L much less anything like what sc2 is using.

Actually I think it is an intel onboard. Or at least for sure it is an onboard =P

Point being, scraping by is a lot closer than I thought. That laptop couldn't even run NWN2.

NWN2 is more hardware intensive than sc2. NWN2 is a death sentence to most machines because it's an inefficient piece of shit, ESPECIALLY the shadow engine. Dear God.

NWN2 still lags on a 5870.

Mmm I see =X but the benchmark still says I would fail at anything but FEAR on lowest settings, and that still lags god awful.

Meanwhile, I can still retain almost 7 frames on SC2 except when fights happen. Then it drops down to 2.

I was 01 at least.
