Murdermasterx loads his rifle with his one remaining round. As the crowd babbles on, he raises it, takes aim, and splatters Aekenon's face all over the pavement. Aekenon has been killed by Murdermasterx, the Marine! Aekenon's autopsy reveals him to be a Terran Civilian.

If you're busy then you're busy, but even so, it takes me about as long as it takes to fire out an IM to write these posts.  The problem with not posting as much is, the natural inclination in Mafia is to hide, since people who talk are making themselves more obvious and therefore are more likely to be suspected even if they're not doing anything.  So, accepting that you are going to be suspected is part of the game.  The only people who benefit from hiding is the Mafia, since they'll want to maintain a low profile and hopefully go unnoticed while everyone else goes after each other.  So, the innocents will usually want to see who's trying to play it safe.  But if you have a whole bunch of innocent people also being scared to say anything then you're giving the Mafia a bunch of targets to hide behind.  Which is why it's suspicious if nobody is talking, because if the person is innocent then they should be trying to sort things out.  The Mafia aren't going to come out and accuse themselves... (Well, when Milldawg isn't playing, anyway...)

Plus, if everyone just sits and waits for everyone else then nothing will happen because everyone will be waiting for everyone else to take the first step.

We haven't heard from a few people, like ShadowFlare, DoW, CDL, and I think that's it... maybe Tipereth, but I don't think in this specific case it's that big a deal since it's not like we had a night round to have people investigate and possibly find something.  Should still let us know you're alive, though.

in all seriousness this post was suspicious to me. the whole goal is deception obviously and this seems like an attempt to be deceptive and maybe establish himself as someone innocents will look to for future voting/ideas. its like itd be so blatant that he was trying to be deceptive with the "only mafia benefit from hiding and im obviously not hiding so im not mafia" that it'd be too obvious for anyone to think that he actually is mafia, if that makes sense. like he was being too obvious to actually be mafia, so people wont suspect him.

i apologize for how poorly constructed that paragraph was im pretty tired but since there is literally nothing else to go off of and i just killed the one everyone wanted to go after that mac is deserving of some attention. also, if aek is in fact zerg he obviously thinks hes going to be lynched at this point, so maybe his post was a last hoorah trying to cast a shadow on me and preserve the image of his fellow zerg mac.  maybe that'd be too obvious though, who knows. either way lets kill mac!!!!!!!!!!!

Alright everyone, Mucky, Lavarinth, AA7, and so on, who disagrees with what I wrote there?  Since when are we trying to quell discussion?  If I recall, it was DoW who was getting picked out for not participating.  Gee, I guess everyone who wanted people to actually post are Mafia.

Oopyman, I think you used your gun incorrectly. Upon catching up (I apologize for being rather inactive), I was nearing closer and closer to voting for Aekenon myself. I would have switched my vote to Aekenon simply because this first day was lasting longer than it needed to be, and a lynch would have caused the day to end. If you had used your gun to murder Mac instead, and changed your vote to Aek, this would have been over already.

Oh well. Seeing as Oopyman is not an Infested Terran seeking to end the human race, but instead just a power-hungry, gun-toting, my-way-or-the-highway renegade, I'll switch my vote from Oopyman to Shadowflare. If enough people are interested in following you, I'll change accordingly. However, right now I think you need to lay off and think about your actions a bit more.
