I played WoS quite a while back but some things happened that made me forgot about finishing it up until now. Thing is, I remember almost nothing about the overall story and don't even have a good idea of where I was so I am going to be starting out again on Book 1, but when I start it up I have Hikaru and Co. with uber levels and stuff. I assume that after I finished Book 1 you are allowed to replay it with the heroes you finished it with, but I don't want to do that since I like things to be as challenging as possible.
Now I have exactly 0 experience with the world editor but I decided to dig around in the campaign files to see if there was anyway I could reset things and I got to the cache loading sections and I found a way to rig it so that it wouldn't find the old characters in the cache but then I realized I would have to edit it for every time a hero is first loaded which would take forever considering how long it takes my shabby system to save each map file. So I tried to delete the game cache entirely but I can't figure out where it is. I see that a trigger is creating a game cache named "wos1.w3v" but that file doesn't exist in my warcraft folder. I try deleting the "SorceriaBookx.w3p" files but that doesn't help.
Can anyone more knowledgeable help me with this?

Re: Starting over?
Making a new profile (being that player name for singleplayer) in the Warcraft 3 profiles and then playing the campaign under that profile should be enough to start completely anew since the game caches are tied to profiles.

Re: Starting over?
Next time you want to do this you can go to the bonus chapter in book too and choose new game instead of saving items and stats.
