Apparently July was a popular month in 1998.
Once again, thanks to adamnesico, who has much more patience with archive.org than I do. More coming soon.
Edit: Also, on the unknown list...

Dammit, somebody stole the idea that's been festering in my brain for years!Jim_Raynor wrote:the unrelated StarCraft Alternate, which uses the interesting concept of changing the race of each campaign but keeping the general story the same. Whether or not the execution is good is yet to be seen. I've added both to the list.

Re: StarCraft Fan Campaign Listing
StarCraft: Reincarnation by deepstrasz (September 2012) has been added to the known list.
Also, the thread has been retitled and somewhat reorganized. As is probably obvious by now, the playthroughs haven't happened yet and won't for a long time, so I'm going to just title this thread what its actual purpose is.

Re: StarCraft Fan Campaign Listing
NudeRaider over at SEN pointed out that the list has grown enough that some historically important and high quality campaigns are practically drowning in it. A best-of list was suggested, so with that said, I'd like to request anyone who has the time to list on this thread the campaigns they found most meaningful to them or historically important, and I'll arrange a list based on that. If I remember to.

Oh yeah. Damn.
I'll have to find a more permanent solution later, but here's a sendspace link for Echoes for now.

Re: StarCraft Fan Campaign Listing
A list of the most important?
For that we have the campaign list of campaign creations. And the forums of the contests, u can feature the winners and seconds.
Well, apart of the list of this web, comes to my mind:
-The Antioch chronicles, it was featured in this web in the past ( I wasn´t, but I like to travel to the past in the wayback machine). The first good fanmade campaign, it´s said.
-Vile Egression. Some says it has the best gameplay ever done. Some requested to feature it in the main list.
- I´ve played and liked ACMD and Legacy of a Warrior (has some bugs).
Ah, there are too the samods campaigns. Some are featured here, as Flame knives and Aeon of the Hawk, believed by many to be best after Legacy of the Confederation. I´m playing Vagrants and I like it.

Re: StarCraft Fan Campaign Listing
Sorry for replying so late, I had no internet.
Yes it did. I have no money right now to revive it so just hold on for some months (years maybe).

Re: StarCraft Fan Campaign Listing
Hello, I was wondering if someone could help me with a problem starting some of these campaigns.
I try to run the Black Sun executable, the screen turns to black for a second or two, then I get the message "starcraft has stopped working" - in 640x480 resolution.
I can run Brood War fine [play on iccup with no problem] and also I've run the Egression campaign succesfully.
I am using Win7 64, have customised all starcraft shortcuts to set core affinity to 1, disabled visual themes and set compatibility etc., I am using a Starcraft No Install folder to run BW.
Any ideas on what could be the issue?

Tolias, we are sorry that we didn't approve your post way before. We tend to check less in the Starcraft 1 sub-forums nowadays.

Re: StarCraft Fan Campaign Listing
By Black Sun do you mean mark_009_vn's Black and Sunny campaign or The Black Sun by mxmagic? In either case, have you tried downgrading?
