EDIT: A thought just came to mind. The times I'd receive this issue was relative to me using a tremendous amount of artistic mapping. Such as using different tilesets to make "pillars" or "columns" in a room instead of doodads, making StarCraft conclude that the pathing was far too erratic for conventional play, I assumed.
I don't know, but the map reached to a point where even changing one title would cause starcraft to go bat shit insane....
I couldn't even add doodads, I have to resort to placing neutral buildings of all things....
It sounds like you might want to consider going into SCMDraft's copy/cut/paste layer and grabbing every physical thing on the map, and bringing it over to a blank slate. You'd have to replace locations, triggers, sounds, and unit settings, but it's your best bet when it comes to getting rid of random errors like this.
DISCLAIMER: THERE WAS NO ATTEMPT IN SPELL CHECKING OR GRAMMAR CORRECTION, NOR WOULD I BE ABLE TO DO SO IN THE FUTURE, SO REVIEWERS, DO NOT NOTIFY ME OF ANY TEXT MISTAKES...
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION:
-Unzip.
-Put Release in your starcraft map directory.
-Use BnS mod.exe to access custom contents such as musics and portraits. (Compatible with BW 1.16.1)
I messed up.... BADLY.... I just realized that I unloaded the old version of some of the maps, and the stat_txt changes are bugged and have the habit of crashing the game, I have school this week so I can only fix this at weekend. Right now though, don't try to play the campaign, it is very buggy and prone to crashing.
Will you still be judging the version he did release, or does this mean he's completely out of the contest? I hope he's still in even with the buggy version, it looks like he worked hard on this.
A similar situation occurred last contest, and it was a rather large ordeal, I can't take exceptions. However, I do have alternative plans since I'm aware some people were dreadfully close to finishing their project and simply didn't have time. He can fill into that position.

Well.. technically, the biggest problem of the bugged version could be fixed easily by deleting the stat_txt in the exe. I could not upload the fixed exe as of right now as I don't have time (56k and shit). And as for the outdated map files:
This is the versions that was supposed to be used for the contest...
EDIT: Given that this quick patch was released only 2 hours after Lav said the deadline was reached, maybe you could show mercy and rate this updated version instead?

Considering it's not DAYS later as originally intended, I'll look into it.
Ok, this is the version with the fixed exe. I don't expect this to be rated by the judge or anything, as I released this for those interested in playing the campaign...
