It can't be that bad, can it? If it's going to be released July 27th this year, then that's about two months from now.

Besides, there's always the patches they can make to fix the game up more (provided Browder isn't going to be a jerk).

The only reason they'd announce the release that soon is likely because they managed to complete the Single Player campaign.

Honestly, I think the game could have benefited greatly from at least two more years of development. There's nothing about sc2 that tells me it's anywhere near ready for release.

I'm inclined to agree with Mesk and Falchion.  It feels to me like they're rushing the game out the door so they don't have to risk having SC2 and Cataclysm competing against each other.  :P

That said though, I think singleplayer is going to be good, and I am looking forward to sinking my teeth into GalaxyEdit.

But also let's not excess in delaying it's release.  My bet would be at least 'til December 10th, that plus firing Browder and moving Sigaty to Cataclysm, which would ensure the next seven months would be more than enough time to fix and polish.

I think that applies to pretty much everything computer-related. One year can mean a world of difference.

I think SC2 is much too late already. We've been hammered to death with information about the game... I think I'm ready for Starcraft 3 now! Nah.

Well sc2 would have been ready if they didn't try to fill it with stupid gimmicks and re-invent the wheel with guys who only know how to carve squares.

Of course they're going to have success, the Blizzard logo is on it. If it was EA or Relic making this game it would bomb like every other one of their games because everyone would see it for what it is. The only thing that is carrying sc2 right now is fanboyism.

As for me I'm done spending money on trash like this. If they fix it, then yeah I'll buy it. But not the way it is now.

As I said, if they fix it. I have no reason to buy the game other than to mod it. If they don't fix the editor I won't get any enjoyment out of modding it.

Hope you've got a big wallet.
