Oh geez, two Necromancers targeted two Sorceresses. Damn.

Well on the bright side, they only had a 20% chance of learning anything new anyway (if they guessed correctly, I mean); as long as we don't hit them tonight, we'll be fine.

So Aiurs and Oopy are Barbarians, St.K and Dread are/were Amazons, Krazy and I are Necros, and Lavarinth and Thal are Sorcs. That just leaves AA7...!

Will bold AiursRage when he confirms that he bashed me.  So right now it seems like the only possibilities are AA7 (who we don't know what he did) and Murdermaster, who is the only one that can't really have their actions confirmed.

The Kerrigan/Krazy/Lavarinth/AR2k seems like too solid a picture to really shake up to me, although it is still theoretically possible that Milldawg and Thalraxal are both lying and both hellspawn.

Yeah, it seems that if everyone is telling the truth about their class, then it pretty much has to be either AA7 or Murdermaster who killed Dread.

But wouldn't it be incredibly foolish for the bad guys to tell the truth about their class, since a mass role claim puts them at a huge disadvantage if they tell the truth? Indeed, as we can see now, if everyone is telling the truth then we've already narrowed down one of the mafia to as few as TWO suspects. Unless the mafia are either brilliant or totally inept, I think it's much more likely that someone is lying.

As Krazy points out, it could be that Thalraxal and I are both lying, since our stories only check out with each other. So that's worth noting.

Another possibility is that Krazy and Lavarinth are lying. Suppose Krazy is a (possessed) Paladin. He targets Lavarinth, his ally, while Lavarinth kills Dread. Then he claims Necromancer and says that he targeted Lavarinth, which puts Lavarinth in the clear (since it means he couldn't have performed the kill). Lavarinth could then claim whatever he wanted - Sorceress makes sense though, since it's a valuable role and might make people more reluctant to lynch him down the line.

I'm not saying this is the scenario I believe, just that it's another possibility we should be aware of. We do need to hear from AA7 and AiursRage, though, before we can get a full picture.

This coming night, we can probably get some very good results if we coordinate carefully. We'll work more on this once we have AA7's role.

Well now that it is too late, I have no choice.  Unfortunately, it most likely leaves me dead because I am the Paladin.

You will probably lynch me for my chosen target.  I selected Saint_Kerrigan for protection thinking the evil ones would have picked him first as a cruel joke.  Instead, they went for the newbie.  Either way, I'm dead.

I have no pity for you, so yes, you are. I vote to lynch AA7.

My target was Milldawg, who of course I could not identify whether innocent or possessed. I'm not one to enjoy coincidences.

A point worth remembering: Only one hellspawn can use the kill action at night.  The second hellspawn could act as a normal innocent.  It's best to worry about the second hellspawn tomorrow, and focus on finding Dread's killer today.  There's not enough information to pick out the two of them today.

MurderMasterX (Oopy) stands out the most to me, assuming everyone is telling the truth, as being the killer.  He's also one of the few players ruthless enough to kill off a player like Dread on the first night.

The Krazy/SK/Auirs/Lav connections are strong enough that it proves that none of them are the killer, and I still think AA7 is on the side of good.  I know that Milldawg targetted me, which leaves only Oopy's actions unaccounted for.

Assuming that someone is lying, the Necromancer/Sorceress pairs stand out the most, so either Krazy/Lav or Milldawg/me, since no one's able to confirm the identities or actions of the Sorceresses (or the Necromancers for that matter).

EDIT: @Lav: Could you please explain why you seem so convinced of AA7's guilt?  It seems a bit hasty to rush in and kill the only Paladin in the game.    Are you suggesting that you believe that AA7 and Milldawg are the Evil Ones?
