probably be a bunch of the default maps won't have yellow minerals... but b.net will likely be flooded from the day the game comes out with 100% yellow BGH maps :\
Yeah, but that's not going to happen because there's gonna be a match-making system like WC3's in place! ...right?

it's a nice feature to have. and thinking about it, if the yellow minerals are only on expansions, and in hard to defend areas, it wouldn't be that bad. It'd improve competition over resources.

and mesk, I can only imagine the chaos that will occur on those FFA maps you speak of.
Hello, mother leopard.
I have your cub.
You must protect her,
But that will be expensive...
10,000 kola nuts,
Wrapped in brown paper...
Midnight, behind the box
I'll be the hyena, you'll see.

Isn't a former C&C game designer on the design team? Anyone whos played RA1 knows about Gems, and blue tiberium in TibSUn.

The yellow minerals (and I am putting bets on terrazene gas as a more profitable geyser) are a natural step, and Its about damn time.
Now with 50% more lol, 50% more win, and 100% phlail.

I'm pretty sure it's actually the producer that's on it.

Just so you know, after EA closed Westwood Studios, a big chunk of the employees started a new company, Petroglyph Studios. They made Empire At War, which was a good game.

Now they're working on Universe at War: Earth Assault. I wasn't want that game as soon as possible.

Don't bother, Empire at War gets boring after the first five minutes. The only real reason to get it would be for the modding capabilities, but that's kinda pointless now since the modding community in general for EaW is made up of elitest pricks.
