Thankfully C is a lot more efficient then JASS and unless Blizzard completely shits all over C memory leaks should be fairly easy to fix and there should be nowhere near as many as JASS produces.Xenon wrote: I don't know C; I'll probably have to learn the scripting language from the GUI output like JASS. Even though I only had a superficial understanding of JASS (what the heck is a "handle"?) that was enough to do some pretty fancy stuff. I'm most worried that the scripting language will force me to go to ridiculous (or infinite) lengths to avoid memory leaks.

Re: StarCraft II Official! (Pictures)
Has anyone seen the new pictures from Blizzard's Stargate update?
The second reveals a ship I can't quite classify. Is that the PRotoss Relic or another new ship? The Relic is suppose to cloak everything so I wonder why nothing is cloaked and why they have so many of that ship if it's a speciality unit like the Arbiter?

I have seen the Desler. I have tasted of his milk and honey.

I only see Warp Rays and Phoenixes. Maybe you're referring to the stargate that's halfway through warp-in?

It's zoomed in or higher rez or something, but they are warp rays - you just haven't seen them from behind. (LOL INNUENDO?)

Re: StarCraft II Official! (Pictures)
The Stargate has been announced:
The warships of the protoss fleet require a much stronger warp link in order to materialize than a standard gateway can provide. The immense stargate is capable of calling ships from high orbit or across immense distances to appear on a planet surface. The construction of one or more stargates at a protoss base is a sure sign that it has become a major staging point for an offensive. This excerpt from the after-action report of Flight Sergeant Aaron Keebler helps underline the rapidity with which the protoss can switch their stance.

Firefox and SC2's site have a love/hate relationship. If I use flash, I can guarantee it's going to crash it. Sometimes, although rarely, the html version crashes it as well.
