I make it sweet and short:

- Awesome voices
- Atmospheric music
- Very good-looking altered portraits
- A total of a 'remaining in the head' presentation

The only thing that disturb me is the mega-hectic gameplay...
Even if so much detailed explanations seem in the play, one should probably dispose of an above-average APM number, or?  ;)

The reason I make use of multiple APMs in my scenarios is because I'm tired of the build and destroy missions where half of your units are left unattended to.  If you notice from my two gameplay videos, the units under the player's control are RARELY idle, as there is always action that demands their attention.  THAT is the true atmosphere of StarCraft imho =)

Alright! Your thought is clear, even if is based of course on opinions. 8)
Then I would say, this is something what has never been there before...

Laconius, I wish you the best and I am curious for your promising project! :D

If a campaign is easy there isn't much worth playing it tbh.

I disagree. For me there is no fun in restarting all the time. :)

EDIT: Hey I got a question. Can you post a single of your voice files? I am wondering if it is the video or the sound, but it is seriously clipping. Would be a shame if it was.

Ah, Mesk. If there a healthy and adequate challenge is given, it is okay.
But in Vile Egression (especially the last vid) it looks in such a way that the player has to kill his mouse (as well as the keyboard) to have a victory chance.

Not only for Maglok and for me no fun is because if one must restart over and over again, I am sure quite that this could extremely also discourage quite a lot of other Gamer which do not hang the whole day in the Battlenet and are APM pros.

From my experiences there is a HUGE skill gap between the modding community and the pro gaming community (a la http://www.teamliquid.net/). If you take some time to actually get better at melee starcraft on non-money maps in about a month or less you'll find that any campaign is easily beatable no matter what the computer throws at you. Its just natural progression and mengsk understands the concept and has played on a higher level.

Have you figured out how many episodes are going to be in this campaign?

I think you're being confused by my type of playing style that I utilize in the videos.  For me, I am definitely an APM/micro whore that likes to spam control groups and screen switch.  However, I believe the maps are slightly less difficult than I make them appear to be; so don't get discouraged just yet. :P

Here's a unit response:

Interesting.

Well... uhhmm, SC can't handle 44.1khz stereo, it handles 22.5khz mono. This cannot go directly into SC. :P

Well, I put that posted sound file directly into SC nonetheless and it appears fine to me.

Overall, you'll have to forgive my lack of expertise in this field; it was only two months ago that I became familiar with Audition's vocal effects.  :)

Yeah, this is how SC works with that:

SC: "Hey it's a 44.1khz stereo file... Hmmm.. I can't handle that. You know what, I wiill just downplay it to 22.5khz mono!"

And it does so crappily. Also a 22.5khz mono is 4 times smaller then a 44.1khz stereo. It will probably clip if you jsut throw it in the game.

Always record at 44.1khz stereo, but always turn itback to 22.5khz mono before putting it in.

Example: Pull SC unit responses from the game it will be 22.5khz mono. ;)

OH, so that's what you meant by clipping.  Okay, I'll try that; thanks a lot :D
