Apparently there's a pending charge on my account by Blizzard due to the ticket issues. Now here I am waiting on the phone to either make sure they don't charge me, or complain to them that it IS pending and they should run it through as I obviously had a chance.

EDIT: And of course: Failed.

Morhaime announced there will be 3000 more tickets soon by means of a 'lottery' like system.

Statement from Mike Morhaime
Blizzard Gamers,

On behalf of everyone at Blizzard, I want to apologize for the challenges and frustrations you experienced while trying to purchase BlizzCon tickets on Monday and Tuesday. BlizzCon is about the positive experiences you all have had with Blizzard games. As a result of this week's events, the excitement that many of you felt about the show has turned into dissatisfaction and disappointment.

Due to these circumstances, we've reevaluated our convention hall space and come up with some solutions that will allow us to offer 3,000 more tickets for sale. We know this will not be enough to satisfy the very high level of demand for tickets this year, but we want to ensure that BlizzCon remains a great experience for those of you who are able to attend. To avoid the issues many of you faced this week, we'll be selling these 3,000 via a lottery. We'll post further details once our plans are finalized. Please note that the lottery will only be open to those with an active Blizzard Account as of 9:00 PM PDT on August 12, the time that the “Sold Out” notice was posted.

I, and everyone else at Blizzard, share the frustration and disappointment that many of you have expressed as a result of this process. We'll do what it takes to avoid this type of situation in the future.

Sincerely,
Mike Morhaime

^ It means you qualify since you were on the website during the time their servers were experiencing purchasing errors.
I have seen the Desler.  I have tasted of his milk and honey.

They should just dig my purchase attempt that was frozen to by my credit card and run it through. Punks.

the anaheim convention center is tiny as fuck, it can't house that many people. But the next step up I can think of that is close is the Los Angeles convention center, but that is way toooooo fucking huge and obscenely expensive (its where E3 was) So they don't really have a lot of options, the convention center is as big as it is, they can't control that.
Now with 50% more lol, 50% more win, and 100% phlail.

San Diego convention center isn't too expensive compared to Anaheim.. But hey whatever floats their vote just so their close to HQ. Didn't know an hour drive would kill them for a more expanded center.

Seeing as they did the WWI's in Korea and France... I don't think they mind.

What I could see them thinking is an issue though, is the fact that you gotta fill that extra spsace with more stuff to do as well.
