A few gamerips and soundtracks exist of this game, but out of all of those that I have investigated, none possess any form of this 11 minute epic. Finding it was a quest I had undertaken for days straight many, many years ago around 2001-2002. Through a variety of dead links and abandoned forums, I finally found it, and have kept it secret and safe ever since.

This gothic track is iconic amongst my collection. I would imagine that now it has become quite rare. Enjoy this treat from a gaming legend.

Do you think you could maybe post a download link for the music that you post (if it's allowed)?  I love listening to music from games while I'm on the computer.  I already have the Halo 1-3 soundtracks and Blizzard's Echoes of War.

No problem, I eventually found it.  I had to download the whole in-game soundtrack, and then extract this theme from it.

You're pretty lucky. I've yet to find a soundtrack that actually has anything from this theme in it. Maybe I'm just retarded and kept finding the wrong ones.

I've got DK2 as well, and I picked mine up for a mere $4 at a used books/electronics/games store called Bookman's. If you have a store like that in your area, it's a great place to visit every so often to scope out old/rare gems.
