StarCraft: Vile Egression II -- It's about time!!!

Post by Eredalis »

So, dear Laconius...

...it's time for Vile Egression 2...  8)
Soon we shall say goodbye to StarCraft: Brood War. It would be the perfect tribut to the RTS legend, if Vile Egression 2 ascend like a phoenix from the ashes. ;)

So what's the plan, great one?  :D

Ah, and by the way:
Spoiler
I suggest, that Vile Egression gets his place in the holy cathedral called CampaignCreations.org mainpage...  ;)

All contest winners should be hosted on the main page... Iirc something like this was said in the contest details, but I might be mistaken.

No, you are not mistaken. It is just that there isn't any section codenamed Contests yet, there is? ::)

In due time?
What kind of time do you exactly mean, oh great El Laberinto?  :P

Of course, I agree with Krazy and omega, that all winners should be take their place in history...
Like Turmalis would say: Go now, and prepare your  troops!

Yeah, I'm afraid you're damn right, Mesky.
The fact, that evil mastermind El Laberinto awakens the impression in everyone of us all things are on the right way, is extreme unsettling.

This is Diablo-style, Lavarinth, and you know what happens to the big red machine. In the end, he was hunted down and killed by chosen heroes. Your only choice is now to hear the heavenly voices and...
Spoiler
... put the friggin' winner campaigns on the main page!!! D:

Interestingly enough, you can find a few unreleased random videos on Laconius' YouTube channel.

What happened to him, Mesk? (if it isn't too personal for him)

I don't even really know. He's off his rocker, that's what. But not in a good way. He's gone coony. Anyways, I asked him about VE and he said he had no intentions of making another installation of it. That may change in the future, but that's what he said.

I still think it's a troll though so take these words with a bucket of anti-freeze

Wait a minute... What?  :o
That's definitely not what I've expected. I supposed, that the campaign material for VE II is almost ready for launch.
Anyway, I hope really Lac is not in serious difficulties and he come back to CC as soon as possible.

Too bad!  :(

I personally don't know of any existing campaign material for VE II, only mod material that I've seen/played.

Anyways, it's not "difficulties" that he's having. It's rather a change of state of mind.

Again, without getting into specifics, I'm still 60% sure that he's just pulling an elaborate troll on me. But if it's real then you'll never see VE II.

/e ok now I'm just bloody curious wtf is going on because this is getting comical. I'm going to wiggle my finger and see what I can find out...

/e2

Oh christ... well, uh, my findings aren't good. I think you guys are better off not thinking about VE II anymore.
