The Crucible
Heroic Blackhand
(yes, I realize I didn't post the Iron Assembly yet, didn't make a video of them this past week)
http://youtu.be/gjGTe_TgAXo
Published on Apr 28, 2015
Trial and Error 2nd kill of Heroic Blackhand. Months behind. On the other hand, he's rather difficult for a Heroic boss, and apparently intentionally so. It took a hotfix nerf to the guy's health (and nerfed Impaled bleed damage) before the first kill happened.
Phase 1 was all about positioning. We decided to place the Debris piles at evenly-spaced locations, but that didn't happen the second time around (it picked our healer that was bubble-healing).
Phase 2. Attempted to drop the Slag bombs at square and run to triangle to make the first Siegemaker spawn at square-- that didn't happen this run. All the Marked for Deaths run behind the Siegemaker, but every third one was soaked by a tank by having players align their arrows at the Moon marker. Group 2 dealt with the balcony adds (not shown, obviously). You do get to see my emergency kite, though.
Phase 3. Slag Bombs go to the edge, Marked for Death go to the middle-- nobody stack on each other or they hit each other bad. Massive smash have everyone on the back-right side of the circle to avoid getting thrown off the platform. Rinse and repeat.
Music Used:
1. The Foundry ~ Warlords of Draenor
2. Rise to the Dark ~ Warlords of Draenor
3. Blackrock ~ Warlords of Draenor
Yes, "Blackrock" is a remix of the two Blackrock themes from Warcraft 3-- Doomhammer's Legacy and Blackrock N Roll.

Re: WoW Warlords of Draenor videos
Have you considered commentating over the videos to explain what is going on, or why you do certain things, like positioning, etc? I realize that is not the goal of the videos, but as someone who is otherwise unfamiliar, it might help to understand a bit.

Re: WoW Warlords of Draenor videos
I wrote out some stuff in most of the Pandaria videos and in the Blackhand video on the Youtube page, but most of the videos at the moment are more to fill out a set than anything (nobody gives a crap about your 10th kill, frankly I don't either). I've almost never made a complete expansion set either due to being lazy or unwilling to do it at the time (lots of times I really wish I recorded the Heroic versions of Siege of Orgrimmar bosses, but there was stuff going on at the time).
The funny thing is the only boss video I never made for MoP was the four kings, although I never posted the other bosses.
Then you look at the Cataclysm videos and the framerate is shit, I remember the recording process bringing my computer to its knees that I had to stop.

Re: WoW Warlords of Draenor videos
Yeah. I really wish I had been recording back in Burning Crusade. Not necessarily for the boss kills, but for the hilarious guild we had. But I didn't have the drive space to do any kind of dedicated recording back then.
So these are all first kills?

Re: WoW Warlords of Draenor videos
Iron Assembly
Heroic Beastlord Darmac
https://youtu.be/0h5LMz9uFFw
Dodge spears, kill the animals the boss mounts on. Each mount that dies grants the boss one skill the mount had-- bleed for the wolf, Tantrum for the Elekk, and Superheated Shrapnel from the Rylak. The Rylak also makes the small animals leave a pile of fire when they die and makes the spears shoot fire at everyone, so it's often considered the most dangerous one (at least until Mythic mode)
Music Used:
1. Secret Decision: Hide Emotion ~ Dynasty Warriors 7
Heroic Operator Thorgar
http://youtu.be/rP0SnGVbCog
All of the trains arrive in a predictable pattern, so we have someone call out in Vent which lane is safe to stand on (as opposed to which tracks aren't safe).
Music Used:
1. The Upper Hand: Pierce ~ Dynasty Warriors 7
Heroic Iron Maidens
http://youtu.be/XyPR4BQucBU
The lowest life Maiden will be assigned to the boat cannon (behind the arena) so up to 6 players can use the cargo hooks and swing over to the boat for a miniboss. Since the group DPS is extremely high at this point we only deal with two boat phases.
All of the Maidens go to Phase 2 if they hit 100 energy or any of them reaches 20% life (they do not share health). If they enrage while one of them is still on the boat, it's game over.
Music Used:
1. Breaking the Enemy: Isolation ~ Dynasty Warriors 7
2. Over the Mountain: Trail of Death ~ Dynasty Warriors 7
3. The Wild and Crazy Ones: Blow Up ~ Dynasty Warriors 7

Mythic Beastlord Darmac
http://youtu.be/4l9FzEaMJ7A
Despite what it appears, though, this is a heavy single-target fight with other people specifically assigned AOE duties.
* Two Shadow Priests and one Moonkin handle all the spears
*One Enhancemen Shaman, one Combat Rogue, and two Beast Mastery Hunters assigned to AOE duty (their job is to kill the small beasts).
* Everyone else is supposed to single-target the boss or the large animal.
Obviously it wasn't a perfect run as there were a number of untimely Pinned Downs going out which made things harder than they should have.

Heroic Gorefiend
[bbvideo=560,315]http://youtu.be/euNTudkOShQ[/bbvideo]
Adds die before the boss, always. What we discovered quickly about this fight was the Gorebound Spirit quickly changed the tempo, so we sent an extra person down into the stomach (eg, ME) in order to either help bring down the Gorebound Spirit or help with the skeleton adds; with the default loadout of two DPS and 1 tank dealing with all the stuff in the stomach was too much and adding another DPS down there made the difference.
Kilrogg kill coming later; he died when I wasn't recording.
Music used:
1. Hitohira ~ DW SW mix ~ (Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate)
2. Rainbow Dispenser (Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate)
P.S. I have a mix version with a decidedly not as legal music to it that I can't/won't upload, but is much better than what I used. It went to "Hunger" by Kick Axe, used in Transformers: The Movie.

Heroic Fel Lord Zakuun
[bbvideo=560,315]http://youtu.be/2uNzJxX-7Wg[/bbvideo]
Considering this guy is a pushover in Normal mode we essentially had to learn the fight from scratch in Heroic where the mechanics actually matter (in Normal this guy may as well have been Patchwerk).
The basic idea is to try to keep the Fel Crystal Pillars clustered together; Zakuun spawns 3-4 pools on the ground and one of them cannot be absorbed as that turns into the pillar (if you absorb none of those pools all of them will turn into pillars which is very bad). Anyone who soaks a pool gets a 2 minute debuff called Latent Energy and they're functionally a mobile pillar for the other major mechanic of the fight-- the purple Wave of Destruction. Any time the purple wave hits a pillar or someone with Latent Energy it will explode doing raid-wide damage, but absorbing the wave hit removes it so people without Latent Energy need to intercept them before they hit a pillar.
Music Used:
1. Vivid Ryu -DW SW Mix- (Warriors Orochi 3)

Heroic Shadow Lord Iskar
[bbvideo=560,315]http://youtu.be/HVF8Zw2r88A[/bbvideo]
The addon Iskar Assist is used by all members of the raid, which helped trivialize a portion of the encounter (throwing around the Eye of Anzu; of course this didn't make the coordination aspect any easier). The raid stood on one side of the room, move forward if targeted by Fel Chakram, move backward if targeted by Fel Incineration. The kill order for the adds was Fel Raven, Shadowfel Warden, and Corrupted Talonpriest. We saved Bloodlust (and all cooldowns in general) for the Shadow Escape adds.

Heroic Xhul'horac
[bbvideo=560,315]https://youtu.be/n0rPjQtxu9Y[/bbvideo]
For whatever reason we didn't have much of a problem beating him; it was mostly a matter of getting used to the fact that the fire spreads faster than on Normal. Controlling the fire and the adds is key to this fight.
Green fire and Purple fire explode when mixed. Preference on letting them blow themselves up over sending people to blow them up themselves.

Socrethar the Eternal
[bbvideo=560,315]http://youtu.be/du7h2XT50hE[/bbvideo]
That guy who used to be a Quest mob in Burning Crusade died and didn't stay dead.
For the robot phase we have two people soak a hit with a tank, then have the same tank soak the second hit. Tank switch after that. The rest of the raid stacks together at the corner slot so we can build up a fire trail at potential portal locations.
Phase 2 we have two people handle the ghosts, four people handle the shadow mages, three people on Socrethar's soul, and everyone else handle either the Dominators or Socrethar. The raid is arranged behind Socrethar opposite the Blue portal where the ghosts spawn while the Robot lays down fire on the ground to slow them down. The first time around we don't use Prison because that complicates things too much. We end this phase and eject from the robot before the third Dominator spawns to prevent Gift of the Manari from getting out of control.
Second robot phase is the same as the first.
Second soul phase we Prison the shadow mages and have those four free people help kill Socrethar.
Second kill if only because we killed him the first time by accident.
