Also note, that since I am unable to play Warcraft 3, I will be hosting an Earth 2160 game on SS nights.

Re: Event Calendar
You're not alone in regards to Warcraft 3. I tried installing it both through the b.net downloadable client and the game disc. The Reign of Chaos version would run for about a day or two before going all "buggy"; a.k.a. comes up with a Direct X error, message saying something about a lack of game disc, or the screen goes blank but the main wc3 menu sounds still play. Right now it's predominantly the latter-most problem.EVWeb wrote:Also note, that since I am unable to play Warcraft 3, I will be hosting an Earth 2160 game on SS nights.
And this is all on my newer computer that was purchased with games such as Starcraft 2 in mind.
Hadn't tried running it through steam yet, but I will eventually (as a test run). In the meantime, I'll likely end up playing Earth 2160 until then.

Re: Event Calendar
Personally, I installed War3 TFT from my old CDs and I can run it quite normally (without the CDs post-patches which include the feature to not require a CD to play) on Windows 7 64 bits. I can even fraps the games.

Aw yeah, let's do this.
Satyr Saturday. I'll be there. Ricky will be there. ShadowFlare will be there.

Probably, anyway. And that might be everyone but it will be TOTALLY AWESOME.[05:20:01] BilltheEmu: So you're going to play WC3 tomorrow, right?
[05:20:17] ShadowFlare: sure, I'll do that

GMT-5? That's way too late for me, I'm afraid.

Yeah, unfortunately my occurrences on WC3 will be rare (but awesome) since it's kind of a game I play just with friends to dick around over something serious. (Like this.) But I wont be available tonightMr. wrote:Aw yeah, let's do this.

Yeah, considering if you are from Sweden, it means it would start at 3 AM for you. Then potentially last until 9 AM as far you are concerned.Linaze wrote:GMT-5? That's way too late for me, I'm afraid.
Oh well, at least you can see my future uploaded SS games at my Youtube channel.

Re: Event Calendar
I might join some saturday, if I'm in the mood for pulling an all-nighter. But most of the time I'll just have to hope the rest of you'll have a great number of satyr saturdays.Ricky_Honejasi wrote:Yeah, considering if you are from Sweden, it means it would start at 3 AM for you.
