Did you downgrade? I know that's kind of like a "did you try restarting it question" but... StarDraft mod files definitely need you to downgrade, and that's about where my troubleshooting skills end.

Pretty sure it's 1.10 you need, but it's been ages.

I`ll try definitely. I thought about it, just couldn`t find for what version do I need to opt for, it isn`t specified.

Someone made updated versions of classic campaigns like "the fenix" and put dem on moddb.com. You can find them under the mod tab on broodwar. I dont think he has changed gameplay or done extensive playtesting but they should work with patch 1.16.1.

It's 1.10 for the fenix.

You still recommend downgrading in this day and age??
That's absolutely not necessary anymore. Simply use Firegraft! It's so easy to import all files from these old mpq archives into a new one and after that all SEMPQ work fine with modern operating systems.

I tried to downgrading, and it worked. Knowing the campaign release time, and patch history by date (thanks to liquipedia) I could figure out to which version I needed to downgrade. It was 1.05.
On a sidenote, I`m on a mission to play all campaigns from this list, mainly focusing on the classics and skipping some not so good ones on the way.

I think Star Adairis: Civil Conflict link doesn't work. It redirects me to the staredit home page.

if you are interested on playing the other campaigns without downgrading your sc, I made firegraft executables for these campaigns on mod db.

the only mods that you will be forced to play with 1.10 are flame knives, temporal distortion and aeon of the hawk.

Thanks for doing what you can to keep this alive. I don't have time to properly update the list right now, unfortunately, but I appreciate the links anyway. I'll try to get things organised by the new year.

I just read the list, doing a review of each campaign and sadly, most of these links that I find in the preview are dead sites in the archive section that don't even work anymore. It looks like the best way to upload new campaigns and user content nowadays is through staredit.net and moddb. Well, at least that's what it looks like.

by the way, is anybody ever going to fix the other tabs at our home page, like the mods and total conversions tabs, the custom resources tab, as well as the majority of StarCraft II and WarCraft III tabs?

No one here has the power to work on the site except for Lavarinth. If you would like the site to be worked on, consider sending Lavarinth a PM every single day of the week in poem format describing how you would like for him to work on it more.

Though at this rate I think violence will be necessary.
