This is a topic dedicated to the progress of Book 6 of Wanderers of Sorceria.


So far I'm still trying to work out specifics, and it depends highly whether or not the campaign is going to be normal-style or Rexxar campaign style.

I'm really not sure what I would enjoy more, either way I know it will be great. Also, I can't wait to see how Scaldar is gonna change.  ;D

yeah i hope scaldar gonna look cool and what ever is that normal style or rexxar i think and i actually know its gonna be great

Totally go for Rexxar style, but only if Rexxar is the protagonist.

I've managed to convert three units to Warcraft 3 which I shelved for a very long time:

Mekani Trooper
Mekani Overseer
Mekani Clawbot


I was going to convert the Bombardier but I dont think I really need that for anything. The Clawbot is a direct conversion with no real animations, but the Trooper and Overseer (which are practically the same unit) are modified Arachnathid models, so they are quite animated.

I think the Rexxar style would fit well. Then again I'd love to play a whole new set of units. It would be nice to have a huge battle at the end, with you playing it or like Rexxars last mission.

I have yet to even FIND a Rexxar-type campaign. (Aside from the origional, that is) As such, I'm all for it. More areas and flexanility storywise, and fewer huge army battles with little or nothing to do with the heros themselves.

...all the kitty ears I plan on stockpiling on my next playthrough will carry over, right?

(Edit) Spiderking just informed me that the invintory from Books 1 & 2 do not carry over. I'll miss those kitty ears. *Sniff* On the upside, that means I can start right on Book 3 without missing anything.

...now if only I had a Faq/Guide for this series...

Wow this place has been slow  :(.

I'm just wondering since we did a save game plus on book 5 does that mean book 6 will be like book 3 we have to start back from square one?

I haven't done much map-wise, I've just been fiddling with models and dividing my attention between this, WoW, and Valkyrie Profile 2.

In book 4 where you have to resist Narguls power the invisible shop doesn't apper I have Ziel Sword and also Dust of APperance neither work is it just me?

The boss is making adjustments to the Heroes that are going to make their appearances in Book 6. For instance, I decided to give Yue Fang a SECOND Ultimate because her initial Ultimate is completely useless for what I have planned. Tenatively she's keeping Max Shockwave, the extra skill she got in her last mission in Book 5.

Similarly, Scaldar is getting a second Ultimate as well because... well, let's face it, Lurker Burrow isn't all that 'ultimate'. Currently it's a variation of Count Zule's Ultimate... but instead of causing a big earthquake it shoots out missiles all over the damn place. As you can imagine it's currently overpowered in this form, but on the other hand I think I need it to do something a little different.

I'm considering upgrading Shizuka's Ultimate as well (not sure how), and possibly giving Kurumi the ability to reset all her cooldowns so I can have a new puzzle element to play with concerning her Chaos Sentinel Ultimate. Hikaru's Ultimate is fine the way it is.

I've decided against doing the campaign Rexxar-style... its going to take too long to understand what Blizzard did with this and I feel as if the story needs to proceed to its conclusion instead of dancing around it with random nonsense like killing random monsters that happened to get in the way or gaining levels when the characters are all at maximum level already.

Having said that I still have to figure out how I'm going to handle the city districts.
