All disabled versions of the button must be given the path 'replaceabletextures\commandbuttonsdisabled\' in order to work correctly. So if you have a button called DISBTNmybutton.blp, your path would look like:
replaceabletextures\commandbuttonsdisabled\DISBTNmybutton.blp
