  Lex (Voice Actor Classified)
» Unit: N/A (Not Proven to Exist)

BIO:  "LEX" is the alias of the most wanted man in all of Confederation space. The Stellar Security Administration (SSA), United Military Command Anti-Terrorism Division (UMC-AT), and the Confederation Security Agency (CSA) all have placed Lex as #1 on their respective Top Ten most wanted lists.

None of the agencies can provide any actual photograph, video, audio recording, or witness which substantiates that Lex is real and not merely a code name used by pirates, rogues, and enemy agents. The ConFed agencies, when questioned by the Congressional Intelligence Oversight Committee, vehemently argue that Lex does exist and is perhaps the single greatest threat the Confederation faces. As a result, Lex has been nicknamed the "Invisible Man." One special agent in the SSA with a talent for graphic design put together a mock image of the Invisible Man Lex as a joke for his colleagues. The image (pictured above) became the official face of 'Lex' to the Confederation a few weeks later.

Many senators as well as executive branch politicians state publicly that Lex is a fabrication created jointly by all of the aforementioned intelligence agencies to support funding increases and is not a man to be feared by their constituencies. SSA reports provide the most detail regarding Lex's alleged activities; the agency linked him to arms supply deals between Remus' Renegades (Pirates) and unknown megacorps and defense contractors. SSA also believes Lex is the 'go to' guy if someone wants to hire "The Keepers." The Keepers, a rogue agency supposedly working under the Confederation's charter, are not officially recognized by ConFed nor is there any hard evidence which allows Keeper agents or the organization's activities to be tracked. SSA remains convinced nontheless that "The Invisible Man" is the primary liaison to the "Invisible Agency."

Many sting operations were put in motion but none successfully drew Lex into the open. Once the Zerg War began in 2500, all agencies except the SSA diverted their attention away from Lex and onto the Roaches. SSA maintained that as long as Lex lived, the safety of the Confederation was in jeopardy and continued their investigation. Several years into the Zerg War, SSA believed it had a lead on Lex providing the Keepers with the location of an unknown extraterrestrial entity close to a sector of space known as Koprulu. The lead was never followed as Congress refused to appropriate the necessary funds to the agency since SSA had no hard evidence to back their claims.
