Celestial Irruption - Synopsis
(In his farewell from Campaign Creations, Desler opted to answer a few questions, among them was the following:)
What about Celestial Irruption?
- It's not gonna happen. I won't
release what I have, because what I have doesn't have Joel in it, and he was
integral to the project. He's gone from CC now, and so am I. However, I will
just sum it up and say that SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS - Lence WAS NOT the
traitor, it was Narek. Narek in fact controlled Nugdraas by posing as Kerrigan,
he also controls the CRT portion of the Empire, the 'black ops'. Narek's plan
was to develop a psionic resonator to control both Zerg and Terrans, and he
does gain control of the Terrans, except for Lence and Kaulin who became immuned
to the resonator from their previous experience when Nugdraas was testing
the resonator to control him. Lence, Kaulin, and the Protoss destroy the resonator
though. This unites the Dorasida and Imperial forces. Kaulin realizes the
thoughts of his intended domination was put there by Nugdraas, and he has
been a puppet all this time. He also makes the revelation that Koe Lence is
in fact Kaulins son, which is the reason he protected him from execution.
The united Terran forces of Dorasida and the Empire press on Narek's loyal
Zerg and Terran forces. Nugdraas is eventually freed of his control by the
cerebrate Omanyss, and they leave the planet together to inhabit a distant
world. In the final moments and final assault against Narek's forces, Narek
has another more powerful resonator ready to use. In a moment of courage,
Lence takes his battlecruiser and rams the resonator, destroying himself and
Narek. A statue is put up in Nilokor to commemorate his sacrifice. Kaulin
is crushed by his loss, but is proud of his son. Vilinthril on the other hand
quits the Narthok for his own complex reasons, and Rond, Tane, and 7576 pursue
him - their fate unknown (and undecided) after the campaign. Shaddox returns
to Dorasida and becomes the captain of an important ship. Kaulin and Dellen
setup a democratic government to continue running Alarite, although Dellen
continually despises Kaulin for what he did during the war and finds it hard
to forgive him.
