Audition
This sound editing program will basically do all you really ever need to do
those voices, music, sounds, etc. It will convert, sample, echo, reverb, and
do all the basics.
Goldwave
A program similar to the one above. Its use is similar to Audition, though not
near as advanced as Audition. More affordable for beginners.
SoundForge
An alternative to Audition, more common and afforadable than Audition, however
as with Goldwave, not as advanced as Audition.
Wingroove
A Midi to WAV converter, very popular and very well designed, useful for
those creating music in a simpler or older version of Cakewalk, however
also requires registration (inexpensive) to record more than shareware time.
