I originally voted for Thalraxal just so I couldn't be linked to him later; I didn't expect him to die. When I PM'd him to get in touch and start talking about Mafia stuff, it became apparent that it'd be very hard to keep in touch as the game went on since he didn't use AIM, so I just said eff it and let the day run its course.

Also, at some point, most everyone had access codes/antivirus (and those that didn't made it rather obvious they didn't) so the Mafia would have to hack the night before in order to kill the person the following night.

I think straight-up item mafia would have probably been more fun, but this was still pretty cool. I wish I paid more attention to the thread, though.

Omgosh, what a frustrating game!  To make one good call on Thalraxal and then just blow it with everyone else.  Why did you vote against Thalraxal so early, Mucky? 

It was so hard because Shadowflare went after me which wasted one night of hacking someone.  Then Lavarinth went after MMX whom I knew was innocent (if he was guilty I would have freaked out).  Then Tipereth pulled yet another "I'm Innocent, Kill me" move.  And when I tried hacking into DoW, I was killed in the process so I was sure he was one of the others.

I'm totally flabbergasted from this one! Definitely my worst game to date.

i didnt think it was too bad honestly, not the best but i enjoyed it.

Yeah, I don't think people mind about balance as long as they can just have fun.  I mean, everybody knew going in that it's not a normal Mafia game.  More like an EXPERIMENT.

Same reason as Arcan. One should make use of the fact that roles are revealed after death.

Sure DoW, host The Thing.  I'm not going to host another game until mAc's game over at The Chaos Sanctuary is finished, because I want to make sure mAc and Aekenon will be able to play. But keep in mind that hosting requires you to actually pay attention to what's going on, a skill in which you have been NOTICEABLY LACKING.
