Re: Wanderers of Sorceria Dedicated Update Thread
Is there any way to get rid of new game plus? I replaced my campaign files with the updated ones, and I deleted them and reinstalled them, and I still start book 1 as level 10 with items.

Did you delete your campaign files in save folder as well?

What do you mean the save folder? I deleted them from the campaign folder, but what's the save folder?Fraxinus wrote:Did you delete your campaign files in save folder as well?

The easiest way is to make another single player account.

That's what I did, I just don't want to have to do that every time I want to start from scratch. That's allRazorclawX wrote:The easiest way is to make another single player account.

There is a dedicated save file for each custom campaign. And WOS uses quite a lot of data of your progress which is in save folder under the profile folder you play with. Creating a new account is the solution too.verb8im wrote:What do you mean the save folder? I deleted them from the campaign folder, but what's the save folder?

Why am I playing as Sorana in Book 6? Did I do something to get that?

verb8im: I dunno. Maybe you messed something up....with Hokuto for example? I got Sorana too.
Razorclaw: I have found something irritating in the last scenerio in Book I, Orpheus hunger.
Dregoth says something like that: "It seems our only hope for survival is to find a way to break Arcadia's curse."
How come? The spiders are supposed to be totally oblivious about the nature of their curse yet and even when told about it, they should forget it seconds afterwards. Is it just a spoiler by mistake, or is it a secret hint, that the curse does not work that well and the Nerubians are just faking the oblivion they suffer all the time? Just like Scaldar messed this up in front of Ziel en route home in the Book II?

It doesn't stop someone from telling them that it exists.Fraxinus wrote:Razorclaw: I have found something irritating in the last scenerio in Book I, Orpheus hunger.

What's the difference between the different difficulties? I read that on easy mode, you get additional heroes on certain chapters or something like that. Is that still true?

The campaign, at least Mission 1 of the first book, crashes when trying to start on 1.29

Every map has problems with 1.29. I'm hoping Blizzard fixes it, otherwise I know what the problem is.verb8im wrote:The campaign, at least Mission 1 of the first book, crashes when trying to start on 1.29

Okay I didn't realize that Blizzard pushed the patch out already. I'm going to have to fix this now. Give me a week or at least a weekend. I was planning to push out something else with this, but it's not ready.
About difficulties, yes, it does make a difference. Easy does give out more Heroes. It's just that there's also a long-standing bug with the Campaigns that it doesn't save the difficulty whenever you do map transitions so it always defaults back to Normal difficulty. The only way around that is to keep changing it back to Easy every time (annoying, yes)
