What do you watch?
I'm a bit curious. I don't have any way to access any kind of statistics.

Re: What do you watch?
I only watch your league vods and replays, don't really have time for much else. But you dont make them anymore

Re: What do you watch?
Yeah, no one plays much and I don't have a good way to record them. fpvod shit lags a lot in that game now and lolreplay prevents games from launching at all.

Re: What do you watch?
i heard baronreplay worked as an alternative but I use obs to stream often and occasionally record, what are you using that lags you?
I am sure there are some people who still play if you want to.
edit: add my NA smurf if you want. Heroooooooof.

Re: What do you watch?
OBS is what I was using, it is entirely unplayable at 1080p and notably choppy at 720p with league (I only have an i7 920, obs is virtually unusable in most games). Fraps causes jsut enough of a hit to make teamfights a bloody mess
I generally only play with groups, pubbs are universally dumb as bricks and have never wasted an opportunity to intentionally throw games (and some people that were on cc cough pornogo were even worse than the worst pubbies)
I'll look into baronreplay next time if I think of it. A lot of games I played would have made great casts but didn't have a non-destructive way to get it happening :\

Re: What do you watch?
you'd be surprised how much the community has changed since the game ballooned in popularity, there's something like 8x the players now that there were in s3 and even though a lot of them are dumb most of them dont rage anymore. Especially in normals, it seems casual players finally realised they shouldnt be upset over a game that doesnt have any consequence. though I'm talking about the BR server, i dont play enough on NA to know.
as for he who shall not be named or i get banned, isn t he plat now? he was last season.
what bandwidth are you recording at in obs? 8000-12000 is usually enough to record 1080p without that much of a quality break, although sometimes it gets warbled when lots of movement happens.

Re: What do you watch?
I was recording at 1500/4000, any more than that caused colossal performance impacts, getting the right settings was very difficult
Also I would really expect any non-NA server to be marginally less toxic, American "culture" is universally hostile it seems no matter the title
As for pornogo, his feeding was very much intentional regardless of whatever ladder rank he was at

Re: What do you watch?
Every one I've talked to said to disable custom buffer size, have you tried without it? Just using 15k should be fine on the main buffer. unless you're streaming in which case your canadian internet would probably just keel over

Re: What do you watch?
Yeah, my internet couldn't handle even that very well. I might try it sometime without the buffer size. We hypothesized OBS might work well for console recordings from the capture card since there wouldn't be CPU competition, but I haven't tried that yet, either. I also haven't tried mucky's FFMPG plugin yet. Just so far behind on everything -.-

Re: What do you watch?
Definitely try without buffer size, I'm pretty sure that's the source of your issues since it runs perfectly on my comp and im pretty sure you have a better setup than me.

Re: What do you watch?
My i7 920 is a first-gen i7 and it's really showing its age in video work these days (10bit encodes are very rarely >6fps), and obs is a realtime encoder, so yeah, it's expected I will probably bottleneck at that point. Fraps performs better since it's hard disk intensive, but league is surprisingly heavy on the cpu for some reason.

Re: What do you watch?
See if setting affinity works on league then, that's a 4 core? 8 core? league only takes two and barely at that as far as i know. It's like SC2 in that it's multithreaded in name only.

Re: What do you watch?
I'm going to give BaronReplay a try. If we play any further games I'll leave it running and we'll go from there.
