Friend Chat in Blizzard's Desktop App

Blizzard FINALLY added the friend chat support for their desktop app thus making it potentially much more useful.

And no, it's not some late April's Fools. I do see that they actually added it.

Nope, fairly sure I never had you on RealID, only your friend code on SC2.

As for that "last year" thingy, I have no idea why short that I pretty much only played on SC2. It's possible it might not have tracked much the battletag until now (as opposed to other players with D3 or WoW).

Personally, I had it because it was the requirement to download the Heart of the Swarm Beta back then. I think it existed even at least a few months before that time.

I felt it was mostly useless until now since it finally support something that has any real use (chatting + knowing who is logged on which game) beyond automatic updates of SC2, D3, WoW, etc.

Desktop shortcuts to pretty much any of their games on battle.net launch the desktop app now.
