Blizzcon 2013
I am contemplating buying a Virtual Ticket to buy myself a Zergling plushie I couldn't get from SDCC. That would put me back $100 easily.

Re: Blizzcon 2013
Wait, what? You went to SDCC?
If you want that plushie I could snag one for you.
EDIT: To be honest, the rest of the items so far seem rather unexciting in comparison to prior products. I miss the music sheets!

Re: Blizzcon 2013
No, I didn't go to SDCC, which is why I couldn't get the Zergling. Apparently the one from SDCC is purple and the one from Blizzcon is green (honestly the green one looks better for the Baneling).
Still, even $35 just for the plushie is asking a bit much for something I'm not sure I'm going to keep on my desk. Aftermarket price on the plushie was even higher which is why I didn't go for it then.
Keeping my options open. I'm not entirely sold on the other Blizzcon goodies (would've bought it for sure if it was a Malthael-themed Murloc, but nooo...), but that may change in a couple weeks.
Although to be honest I often wonder if watching Blizzcon online is even worth it. Previously I had... alternative means of doing that.

Re: Blizzcon 2013
Topics of interest this year could be: D3 expansion, Hearthstone, SC2 second expansion, and perhaps due for another WoW expansion.

Re: Blizzcon 2013
I'm actually expecting to hear about Blizzard All Stars there, too (Stitches is the SCII portrait this year).
Maybe I'm being a little too stingy about it; I realized I haven't spent anything from my discretionary budget for nearly two months.

Re: Blizzcon 2013
Well, apparently Heroes of the Storm really is Blizzard All Stars.

They really need to pick just any different word for any of those 4 words. Otherwise, Heroes of the Storm can be shortened to ... HotS which would be already confusing between the MOBA HotS and SC2 HotS.

Re: Blizzcon 2013
I think the confusion is the point.

^ This is true.
I am excited about the new game! I think it will be a great thing for all of us to play at CC!

I couldn't help but wonder with the way they kept gushing about Abathur that he's going to be amazingly popular once unlocked (from what I understand you can't use him from the start)
I was most amused by the fact they gave Anub'arak the Ultralisk burrow-charge upgrade from Heart of the Swarm.

Me too, now they just need to move Blink, Meat Hook and who knows what else from SC2 to their MOBA and we're good to go.

Abathur is amazing. So amazing that I believe he's going to be mega-nerfed.

Re: Blizzcon 2013
God this should've won the movie contest. The actual winner was terrible.

Re: Blizzcon 2013
Browder did an interview on HotS recently where he gets exposed as the cis scum he is.

RPS then did a followup about how Blizzard is the patriarchy.
