Siege of Orgrimmar Edition:

Immerseus
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=laW_1USfO-4&

Trial and Error, US Draenor, first kill, Frost Mage POV

Our first attempt on this was on Flex, so when it came time for Normal raid we ended up one-shotting the guy. Very easy boss.

Music Used:
1. Ruined City Kishgal (Ys Zanmai)

Fallen Protectors
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_HSSqCKUHiE&

Trial and Error, US Draenor, first kill, Frost Mage POV

One-shot on both Flex and Normal. A lot of mistakes were made, but none of them ended up wiping the raid.

Music Used:
1. Unfathomed Force (Ao no Kiseki)
2. Conflicting Passions (Ao no Kiseki)

Norushen (Amalgam of Corruption)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=15DOJ6up768&

Trial and Error, US Draenor, first kill, Frost Mage POV

After numerous near-kills with seven healers, replacing one healer with another DPS did the trick.

As a quick note: the enrage timer is actually 7 minutes, not 10. Had to learn that the hard way.

Music Used:
1. Destruction Impulse (Ao no Kiseki)

Sha of Pride
http://youtu.be/_l9IloqbvK0

Trial and Error, US Draenor, first kill, Frost Mage POV

The Pride bar looks overwhelming when you look at it, but the fight is really a matter of minimizing the damage caused by the attacks that generate Pride. Once that part is figured out the rest falls into place.

Music Used:
1. Mystic Core (Ao no Kiseki)

Galakras
http://youtu.be/1N5ZDEGREOk

Trial and Error, US Draenor, first kill, Frost Mage POV

Shades of Hyjal... there's a lot of minions running around. Galakras himself has fairly simple mechanics, but obviously the very first time we get to that part nobody really knows what to do.

Music Used:
1. Stormy Groove (Dynasty Warriors Online)
2. Arena - 7th Mix - (Dynasty Warriors 8)

Iron Juggernaut
http://youtu.be/fbJWVRXq9Lg

Trial and Error, US Draenor, first kill, Frost Mage POV

The initial pull we placed him near the entrance of the battle arena, which turned out to be a big mistake since Shock Impulse knocked people out of the arena there. Instead, we tanked him over at the right end of the arena, which worked out nicely.

Music Used:
1. The Wall of Fate (Dynasty Warriors 4)

Dark Shamen
http://youtu.be/CRm1fOGP-SE

Trial and Error, US Draenor, first kill, Frost Mage POV

After making a few attempts by keeping the Shamen together, we instead employed a third tank to lead around the Wavebinder since there is no need for a tank switch on her. The other Shaman is tanked off to the side of Grommash Hold with all the melee DPS. In this way the battlefield became much cleaner.

Also as a bonus using a Brewmaster Tank on the Wavebinder allowed us to make use of Keg Toss to slow down the slimes.

Music Used:
1. The King of Sadness - 7th Mix - (Dynasty Warriors 8)

General Nazgrim
http://youtu.be/IMWJoQtNU9s

Trial and Error, US Draenor, first kill, Frost Mage POV

Not a terribly difficult fight. In a similar vein to the Sha of Pride, managing resource is key to the fight-- in this case, Nazgrim's Rage bar. Without any flying Ravagers to mess with people he went down fairly quick.

Music Used:
1. Unusual Gravity (Dynasty Warriors 5)

Malkorok (Garrosh's adviser)

http://youtu.be/DVNxmkBxTMM

Trial and Error, US Draenor, first kill, Frost Mage POV

Similar mechanic to Bouncing Bolts on Lei Shen, one person needs to stand in each purple pool or everyone in the raid gets hurt bad. The real trick to Phase 1 is relying on your healers to get your shield up intact (similar mechanic to Heroic Tortos). Overall, he's not too difficult.

Music Used:
1. Geniuses Sanctuary (Dynasty Warriors 6)

Spoils of Pandaria:

http://youtu.be/jDTSUhAqbi4

Trial and Error, US Draenor, first kill, Frost Mage POV

Divide the raid into two groups-- group balance is important so each group can clear a room at roughly the same time. The initial wiping all were dealing with said balance along with which boxes to open and at what time. What we did was open both of the Pandaren weapon boxes from the start and use that to defeat the Large box add.

Music Used:
1. Fighting Spirit (Samurai Warriors Chronicle)
2. Rumbling (Samurai Warriors Chronicle)

Siegecrafter Blackfuse:

http://youtu.be/Frd7PR8pHxA

Trial and Error, US Draenor, first kill, Frost Mage POV

Beat this guy in ten pulls... he's not terribly difficult, it's just everyone has their own personal responsibilities.

The assembly line group (consisting of mostly melee DPS) focused attacks on the Crawler mines so we could get as much damage in on the boss as possible. If you fail to destroy any one of the weapons on the assembly line Blackfuse gets a damage shield (which happens toward the end of the fight).

Music Used:
1. Fusion!! (Warriors Orochi)
2. Ultimate Weapon (Warriors Orochi 3)

Thok the Bloodthirsty

http://youtu.be/tz76usnRS6o

Trial and Error, US Draenor, first kill, Frost Mage POV

We decided to kite Thok in a circle around the room while the majority of the players remained in the middle. The kiting wasn't perfect by any means, but it worked.

Having four Paladins in the raid, we rotated Devotion Auras during the stacking parts so we could extend the interrupting phase out longer-- 12 stacks of the interupt seemed to be the sweet spot. As for the kiting phase, 12 was also the sweet spot, but again, the kiting wasn't exactly perfect (Murphy's Law applies here).

After attempting to dance the flames in the last part we just gave up and let him go back to the kiting phase as moving around with the flames ended up killing people (in 25 man you need 15 injured people to turn him over into the kiting phase; anything less than that and you can stay in the interrupt phase forever).

Music Used:
1. Gloomy Shadow (Dynasty Warriors 5)
2. A Great Giant (Dynasty Warriors 6)

Klaxxi Paragons

Nothing like the Council Boss from Hell

http://youtu.be/JLttXwnEsWQ

Trial and Error, US Draenor, first kill, Frost Mage POV

The fight is a glorified puzzle-- killing the bosses in order can make things easier. Our intended kill order was Skeer, Ri'kal, Ka'roz, Hisek, Korven, Xaril, Kaz'tik, Iyyokuk, and Kil'ruk, but the Amber Regeneration of Korven managed to make things interesting.

Skeer and Ri'kal need to die first since their self-buffs help each other, and it is easier to not have to deal with either the heal slimes nor the parasites.

From the start until Hisek died we arranged two groups of ranged DPS as pre-placed soakers for Aim (we tried this with one, but that turned out to not be enough in our attempts).

Ka'roz moved up in priority because his Klaxxi buff can destroy Korven's Amber Regeneration. Once he was down Amber Regeneration wasn't as much of a problem (of course Korven's Shield Slam is a different story, so he needed to go down as well).

Iyyokuk sounds complicated on paper, but he's really anything but. Don't pay any attention to anything in his entry other than the fact you should not stand near the characters with the end points of the line connecting to you.

Xaril, you only really need to watch out when he does a Blue call. Obviously in our kill attempt we flubbed it, but the intention is to have three people stack on the Blue-afflicted characters. Yellow and Red are fairly simple and only involve the afflicted characters to not be in the middle of the raid when it goes off.

Kaz'tik remains a high priority target simply because the Kunchongs can spiral things out of control quick.

Kil'ruk is not all that dangerous by the time you get to him.

Music Used:
1. Men of Intelligence (Dynasty Warriors 3)
2. The Mountain (Dynasty Warriors 8)
3. Struggle for Existence (Dynasty Warriors 4)

Garrosh Hellscream

http://youtu.be/ZuOoqn09LSI

Trial and Error, US Draenor, first kill, Frost Mage POV

Garrosh is a DPS race; you need to push him into the next phase at certain landmarks or the battle becomes extremely unmanageable. For Phase 1 the adds pile out of control after about four Iron Stars, while in Phase 2, provided you do the Intermission phases perfectly, becomes ridiculous once he hits the third Intermission.

For our strategy we stacked everyone on top of Garrosh, while DPSing the Desecrated Weapons that land on top of us. This provides two benefits: 1) you don't have to move, and 2) every auxiliary target (Farseers, Desecrated Weapons, mind-controlled players) is right there as well. We also used a third (Monk) tank and used the same strategy on Tortos-- grab all the adds and kite them around the room (within range of the healers), so there was minimal damage going out on them.

Following the second Intermission in Phase 2 we meant to have a small range group run out to drop Desecrated Weapons at designated spots around the room, but as can be seen in the video only one of the weapons made it to its intended location.

Music Used:
1. Garrosh Theme ~ Divine Bell Finale (World of Warcraft)
2. The Last Battle (Dynasty Warriors 7)
3. Restart (Dynasty Warriors 8)
