Legacy of a Warrior, campaign corrected.
I was playing Legacy of a Warrior. When I arrived to the scenario 6 and found it unplayable for many mistakes in the triggers, I went to the starcraft editor and I modified the scenario many times until it was playable, I spend more than a week. I too modified the cutscene 7, know it is visible, not fully, but enough for follow the chapter. There are still some minor bugs, but the campaign is konw fully playable. Well, I still must see the chapter 3, but it will be fast.
The thing is, I would have liked that the author of the campaign would have ended his campaign. Now that I have done it fully playable, it is the campaign that the author imagined, and a player would like to play. So. Should I upload the corrected campaign and Jim Raynor include it in his campaign database?

I guess you could make it if you want, nobody can stop you. I do think you should contact Marine about it, though, and get his permission. If he's okay with it, I'll put it on the list.

I don't think so, but it wouldn't hurt to send him a PM. If it's connected to his e-mail he'll be notified.
Or does anyone else know another place to contact him where he is active?

He haven´t answered to me. In Spain we say: Silence is consent.
Here is the link to the updated version.

For certain, there´s a bug i was unable to correct. in the chapter 6 often Edmund Melest desapears. I only can say that you save and load again a part when he still haven´t disapeared. And other minor bugs of place units who doesn´t afect gameplay.

That's cool and good that you've fixed the maps, and I'll probably play them myself, but I don't feel comfortable putting them on the playthroughs thread as an official update without his direct consent, and for me silence isn't enough consent, sorry!
But thanks for making the fix anyways.

Why don't you list it as an [UNOFFICIAL PATCH] right next to the original download? It wouldn't feel right to let efforts come to waste

What part of this? Unless the link has gone dead, (I haven't clicked it,) there shouldn't be much more activity to a a few triggers being fixed. It's simply an updated map file.

Hi.
As this doesn´t enables more than 10 Mb of attachment, I´ve attached only the modified files, for the rest of chapters there´s the usual link.
All credit for Marine, of course.

Hey! Sorry I was for nostalgic purposes came back to this website because I always got my creative-ness on this website. Which I have the itch to start another campaign. I also just went through my e-mail again and saw your message. I absolutely have no problem with, mind you this was my first story I had ever completed, and no doubt there were some bugs, I'm glad you took the time to go through them, I saw the maps and they did look good.
Glad to be back, sorry to bump an old thread, this just did catch my eye.

Absolutely, I've got something cooking just starting the process of getting the details of the story ironed out.

Re: Legacy of a Warrior, campaign corrected.
what would it be? mind is blowing is with possibilites!
Ya know, sometimes i remember old times when Dune 2000 was rocking, when God of War II was the best game, when
starcraft was the best strategy among everything....
I always ask myself: why many people dont play this legendary games, why they want play new ones?
And the answer is: they don't love games bro, they don't love them....
