Changing class resets extra stats from tomes

In the end of book 2 you can change classes for various characters, as to replay them in a new game.Or you can change them when you restart the campaigns.Either way the extra statistics from tomes a character has received are reset if you change his/her class.Even if you change him/her back to the original class, the extra statistics are still gone.For example, Hikaru's stats when i finished booked 2 were 54 strength,33 agility and 34 intelligence and after i changed his class his stats changed to 44 strength,26 agility and 32 intelligence.
