THAT was a fan-made movie, by the same folks from First Contact. THIS was my discreet commentary.

Hipster ironic laugh.
And while I recognize Mesk's huge dedication and talent (I'm not so fond of his universe because too many ships and weird names I never memorize), i think your ridiculous comparison comes off as asskissing.

Eh. To me they're entirely different things and are incomparable.

Indeed, I can't even comment on Falchion yet again, not sure what's clicking or stuck up there.
Anyway, as for the video- I can't help but tremble in horror at that horrid Protoss vocal effect. The Terran scenes were great aside the Hydralisk moving so slowly, Kerrigan against Zeratul(?) looked.. weird. I didn't realize Protoss were so.. slimy. Space scenes were cool. Overall as a display of their work it's a great render, good animations, and decent models. The audio really dragged this down, though.

Re: Final Metamorphosis - Total Laugh.
The character animations could use a bit more energy. The fight sequence and that one focusing on the marine, if they had put more time into it could have made them have a stronger impact.
And mutalisks in space. I really don't think Mutalisks are used by the Zerg in outer space. Scourges, guardians, yes, but not mutas.
I think those are the only things that made me cringe a bit.

Given what they said to each other, it seemed more like Kerrigan vs Tassadar to me lol

Given the wing size to body size ratio, I don't think the wings of a Mutalisk are its primary locomotion nor method of lift. If it were, planetary differences in gravity and atmospheric pressure would limit Mutalisk usage. I imagine they use what Guardians and Devourers use (they do evolve from Mutas, after all), and have wings only to provide added speed and control.
Overall, the video was great. Character animations tended to be a little stiff and slow, especially in fight sequences. Zerg need to move with speed and impact to feel threatening. Love the spine in the Marine's face, though. Tassadar's (in Zealot armor?) voice was overprocessed and difficult to make out. With the protracted buildup of the many space battles, I expected to see more, or at least have it connect more fluidly between cuts. You really have to know that it's following the vanilla campaign arc to understand the jumps in scenes. This drastically throws off the visual pacing in a first time viewing.

Re: Final Metamorphosis - Total Laugh.
I thought the video was pretty cool and had a few problems but nothing at all amusing (they didn't even attempt to match the voices but at least there was more variety in the voice acting (and a coherent narrative
) than "the awesomeness of Black Sun" lol)
but it still made me feel like "wtf why would you make that"

Don't worry about it, I won't subject you to my voice acting anymore.

They are used in space; they're probably flying around somewhere in one of the Zerg cutscenes doing just that.
For the record, the 'official' reason Zerg flyers fly is by using Vespene Gas, partly as a cheat for being not-so-aerodynamic.
And the Mutalisk model looked like a flying bagel and was animated like one, too.
