Thanks for your interest in sharing the sound track, however we don't allow file sharing of products that should be bought (ie: illegal sharing/pirating/etc)

Ha, but on the bright side this reminded me that I should in fact take a listen to the soundtrack that came bundled with the SC2:CE.
Though, I'm having a lot of fun listening to the amazing Cataclysm music.

It reminds me that anything that should be bought can also be obtained 'otherwise'.Dread wrote:Ha, but on the bright side this reminded me that I should in fact take a listen to the soundtrack that came bundled with the SC2:CE.
Disclaimer: Just kidding of course. I have no intention of ever taking potential income away from the multi-million dollar enterprises because I love spending a lot of money on these extra value products that are worth every penny but not really listening to this music anyway!

Going into the game's mpqs and pulling out the music yields about 3-4x as much audio as the OST.

Yup. But then the OST is just for the main music, I'm assuming. It's still shrink wrapped inside of my CE box. Hahah.IskatuMesk wrote:Going into the game's mpqs and pulling out the music yields about 3-4x as much audio as the OST.

Re: Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty Soundtrack
The OST doesn't include the ingame tracks for starters which IS the main music as far as I'm concerned. :\

Oh really? Lol. Then that's just flat out dumb. Maybe it's the music from the cinematics.
I have no clue. I haven't opened anything that it came with except for the actual game.

Re: Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty Soundtrack
It's mixes of the campaign music pretty much exclusively, but not all of that either (and definitely not all the variations that are available in the mpq).

Wait, what? It totally has the in-game music in it. Even the passionless Protoss tracks.
The cinematic tracks are in there, as well as the cut-scene tracks.

Eh? I never heard them. :\ It might have had some parts but I doubt it had all of them.

Re: Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty Soundtrack
Well sure. There's a shit-ton of music in the game and they chose to release only one CD for the sound track album.
As a sound track collector, the intrinsic value of the album is owning it on official stamp. Getting the tracks from the mpq is obviously the cheaper and - unfortunately - richer alternative.
