Diplomatic Breakdown

Story: Diplomatic relations between the Dominion, the Umojan Protectorate and the Kel-Morian Combine have always been fraught, differences of opinions have stymied any lasting alliance and so collaboration between them was normally limited to simple goods trade.

The Brood Wars have just ended, Arcturus retreated to the Dominions primary world of Korhal to lick his wounds and plan about what to do next, the Zergs apathy has given them a much needed breathing space, he didn't question why since any attempts at finding that out had failed. Losing no time he started putting into action the plans for rebuilding, he had to move fast because while he had such a weakened military another concern arose; the very real chance that one of the other 2 Terran powers may try to stage a takeover.

To allay any hostile actions, a group of the best intelligence operatives were to be sent to infiltrate key organizations of both powers... at least that was the plan.

Reality didn't work out so well.

The morning started for Jed as any other morning might, he woke up, grabbed the nearest bottle to his bed (in this case a 3-day old wine), downed it and proceeded to get dressed. Picking up his canteen of proscribed medical 'water' that always went with him to work, he rushed out the door hoping, like every other day, that his supervisor would forgive him a little lateness.

At the end of the day that was going to be the least of his troubles.

Direction: Its going to be primarily a Terran campaign, with a few appearances by the Zerg too, probably going to span about 6-10 missions I think. The story's going to revolve around the troubles the infiltration team face, Jeds history explaining why he drinks so much, how the lines between good and evil are based upon a matter of opinion and how some people will win at any cost. In the end it will explain why the Combine and Protectorate look upon the Dominion with a certain level of trepidation in SC2.

Was thinking about trying a campaign for SC2, saw this go up and thought lets give it a go, will certainly be fun making it!
