StarCraft I Remake

Post by johnnythewolf »

Yet another fan-campaign has seen the light of the day. This time, it's a fan port of SC1. For now, only the Terran and Zerg campaigns are available:

Time to pick up the pace, CC!

But I thought Campaign Creations had to go see a psychiatrist on your recommendation?

Nice port. Although, Backwater Station onward there seems to be a breifing glitch, just sits there with the briefing background and music playing. Anybody else getting this problem or is it just me..?

I haven't noticed anything like that, although the game crashed during "Jacobs Installation". Not sure why, though.

Hmm. Might have something to do with my using SCII on the lowest graphics settings. I don't really know if that would cause any glitches, though. And besides, I can't really change that until I get a better computer...

You'll be in a feast for your eyes when you do.

Version 1.01 is out. Now, all the maps are properly linked together, thanks to Ricky's discovery.

I also contacted one of the authors to offer my help with terrain polishing. We'll see how it goes.

Oo! Progress. While I'd rather just play SC1 to play SC1, this still looks like a neat little project. I might check this out sometime.
