So Tomorrow...

Postby Legion » Mon Jul 26, 2010 7:12 am

What are we going to do? Play through the entire campaign right away, hop online to do battle with other nerds or get down to real business and start fucking around with the editor?

Me, I'm not sure yet. I'd like play through the campaign but I also want to learn how to make maps...

What about you?

Tomorrow I will be constantly refreshing my tracking information.

But when I get it, probably on Friday, I will definitely head right for the campaign.  After all, I've already done multiplayer and mapmaking.  Also, I can't wait to see how much my map gets broken with retail.

I only intend to get it on Thursday or Friday since I have an exam coming up and I don't want any big distractions at the last moment.

Like Bill, I already experienced mapmaking and multiplayer so I would be more concerned with the campaign (and indirectly see new mapmaking possibilities shown in the campaign).

I ordered it to arrive Tuesday at some random time.. BUT THAT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH. I'm still going to the store tonight to attempt to acquire a copy, however only if it's collector's edition. I'll be playing through the campaign, but am taking four days off work so I'll have plenty of time to do it all.

Well, I don't think I'll have some degree of free time this month to play this game, so I actually don't know when I'll get it. Surely, once I've put my hands on it I'll go straight for the campaign. :P Let's see how both singleplayer gameplay and plot have developed since SC 1. :)

You know what I'm gonna do.  :P

Getting it tomorrow morning. Taking three days off to play. Then vacation for another three, so I'll be without it......  :-\

Tomorrow I'll either be leveling my mage or my paladin. Oh wait, no, tomorrow's Tuesday, time to faceroll icc10 and wipe fifty times on Marrowgar for the occasion. But maybe I won't go because after killing rivendare 202 times my CTS is even worse now than it was before.

btw play the campaign first THEN make maps. So A.) you can see what the editor can do (A little bird told me that there's some fancy shit in the campaign), and B.) so you don't spoiler yourself.

They'd better have freaking bridges in the campaign, because in the beta editor, it was a pain in the ass just to make a simple bridge.  And I don't mean one that you can go over and under, I just mean A SIMPLE BRIDGE, that dudes can walk over.

Too lazy. If it's broken it should be fixed on release, anyway.

Singleplayer campaign first, Campaign Editor second.  As much as I'd love to dive into the editor, I'd like to have some idea of what the game can do before I get to work.
