This is like the dissapointment that followed the release of D2 1.13.

Wasn't it supposed to be Battle Net stuff they were working on, and not balance?

I dunno if there's any real changes to b.net, but the cursor is blue now. *woot*

To be honest, if that was all that was done since the downtime then this has got to be the mother of all jokes.
Blizzard, you've screwed up big time (and not just with the Real ID bs system thing).

What's really head-scratching is the cross-game social features thing. What the heck does that mean asides from the supposedly implied obvious?  ???

WHAT. THE. FUUUUUUUUUUU.
You must log in to Battle.net to authenticate your StarCraft II account before using the editor.

I don't think this means that you need to be connected to B.net to use the Editor.  I think they're saying it works the same way SC2 does, where you need to connect to B.net at least once before you can play offline.  At least I hope that's what this is.

There's way more than what they listed. All of the achievements (this is HUUUGE man a primary feature of sc2!), a bunch of editor natives, all of the campaign music that I posted in that other thread, ect.

I'm just installing the beta right now, but I already have a thing to start ranting on the next "Falchion's Nest":  I can't believe I've got 3MB internet acceleration (The best here in Brazil, that's what they say), and the damn updater is downloading at 70 KB PER MINUTE!!!

I don't know, either it's me or they who are obsolete!!!

You can get to the model previewer by opening a .galaxy file to open up the script viewer, then opening up the console and typing "browse" to open the archive browser. Then, view a model file. No luck so far on getting one of the main windows to open.

Even though I've already patched to the current version, it still says it's down for maintenance. A hint of more to come?

Either way, at least we can get back to playing the beta. As for me, I've got a few hilarious plans in mind.

Have to admit, in COMPARISON to every other Zerg change so far, the ultralisk buff was probably the best buff (in terms of increasing the value of said unit) they've had so far the entire beta.

Which isn't saying much. But HEY THEY DIDN'T LIE...
