EMP still removes all mana, is instant, and has a longer range. If anything it's horribly OP right now.

Instant? I thought it shot a projectile just like the SV with roughly the same speed no?

Longer range is probably to compensate for the ghost's inferior survivability, cloaking or not.

It's pretty much instant. I never even see a missile.

The only problem is that, in terms of lore, protoss are not supposed to be able to be infested. There was only ever one case of it occuring and it was because of a creep sample that was able to control the thoughts of others and even compel them to do things. The creep sample is currently in Dominion hands, but it wouldn't be unlikely for the Swarm to have the genetic makeup of it as well. It all depends on whether or not Blizzard wants to run the risk of people mixing up infested protoss and hybrids (even though they, if all goes well, are intended to be the same thing). Yeah, lore would not match and confusion would ensue. I also agree that EMP is a bit overpowered. All energy and 100 shields? How about... it deals 500 shield damage averaged to the amount of units effected. 1 unit = 500 damage, 2: 250; 4: 125; 10: 50, etc. etc.

That would be an okay mechanic, or even better if it was a percentage.
