I think file 16, not 16a, is better. The situation reminds me of one of the Robocop movies.  :)

16 sounds more clear.  16a sounds more 'edited' then authentic, don't know if that makes sense.

I enjoy moreso the voice in first choice.  Though, the way it pronounces "you have" seems a little odd to me, for some reason.  Like, it's not clear enough for a robot's voice, or something.

My nitpicking aside, it's a good clip.  By the way, who lent their voice to this?

...Of course.  It seems silly in retrospect, but it never occured to me that you'd be one of the voice actors for your own campaign.  (I'm as slow as ever!)

So, this means past LotC installments probably sported your voice, eh?  If so, I'd be interested in knowing who you played.  Sorry if this is a little too off-topic.

For past LotC installments I played:

The Oracle
Vaeregoth
Keeper Stillwell/Dr. Algernon (Same voice pretty much)
Giovanni
Keeper Command (Both voices)
Cerebrate Zuhl
Cerebrate Thrax
Commander Reeves (Fallen Angel: Mission 1)
UPL Defense Net
Judicator Albrun
Lieutenant Rand

For LotC in SC2 I'll be voicing:

The Oracle
Vaeregoth
Prelate Zathren
The Terran Warden Unit
The Protoss Heretic Unit
Kargeth (Hunter Killer)
Malicor (Hunter Killer)
Colonel Stamp
Giovanni
Keeper Command (Both voices)
Keeper Stillwell
SNN News Anchor
Judicator Albrun
Ulrezaj
Lieutenant Rand
FEI Director Gordon Berkshire
Miscellaneous bit characters and computer voices

Thanks for responding!  That's a rather impressive list.

I was always a fan of Stillwell's and Reeves' (despite his brief role) voices.  Nice to know who was responsible for those! ;)

IMHO Mustapha Ra' Chek (Joel Steudler) is the best SC voice that has ever been recorded both blizzard and custom made.

Ra'chek was very good I agree, but I find Arcturus Mengsk tops it for me. :) I mean listen to that speech!

True, Mengsk's speech rocked, there is no doubt. But when I listened to Ra'Chek, especially his intercom announcement in Mission 17 (Fracture), this was like, wow... I would have joined the mutiny party right away  :D

Marine 1: We shouldn't do the mutiny thing.
Marine 2: But his voice...
Marine 1: It IS awefully compelling...
Marine 2: Must... mutiny...

Ra'Chek was cool, but he was always 'just that guy' to me. The voices of the Oracle and Mallock - though their sound qualities different throughout the campaign - always impressed me.

BUT the best Cerebrate impersonation EVER has got to be Zuhl. Oracle did an amazing job on that one. I tried replicating it, but I don't actually want to know how he did it. It fits perfectly in the line of Zasz and Daggoth.

As for Starcraft / BW: Aldaris, man! I've loved Paul Eiding ever since I heard him in Diablo.

Paul Eiding's one of my favorites too, along with Michael McConnohie (Uther, Kel'thuzad, Warriv, etc.).  It's likely that we'll hear both of their voices in StarCraft 2 as well, unless Blizzard has decided to not hire the "usual bunch" this time.
