oh god

Postby IskatuMesk » Tue Aug 24, 2010 6:13 am

I just discovered a program that stretches without distortion. It is primarily intended to stretch music. Most people seem to be sitting at the magical 800% which turns stuff like the boring Portal song and Justin Bieber music into absolutely insane fucking epic ambiance.

Hey, post up some example stuff or something, or even the link to the program. I wanna see/hear what's going on with this!

Once I get some good examples I'll post a few.

Nobody can stop wanking their hooter to Bieber, but I did find this one:

How to make your new video game music:
1. Write a bunch of regular songs.
2. Slow them all down by 800%!

Here's one of the ones I did this morning. It turned out really, really well.

The Bulgarian stuff I have is also turning into awesome stuff. The more I play with this and learn how it transforms sounds the better of an idea I'll have of what I can turn portions of my huge library into. This makes really great ambient music for a campaign of some kind.

This is pretty fucking crazy. Would probably be awesome for peacetime, tragedy, or similar in campaigns. Myself, I can't really stand non-"epic" (in the sense of grandeur and glory and stuff) songs when I listen to songs alone. hurr
