TOA's Design lives on

Postby IskatuMesk » Fri Mar 20, 2009 8:39 pm

Although actual writing hasn't moved for months and months now, the universe continues to evolve.

I recently designed the history of the Scitor, AKA the Skelmasha, AKA the Xy`Kranasha, the oldest and most well-known antagonist of the universe. You'll remember them specifically from Undying Fury. They were also to be represented in The Black Sun: Bloodstone Jordan.

The ten-year life of the Scitor's literary existence has seen the least amount of progress in the entire story because of how complicated their history is intertwined with everything else. The Scitor are a young race at TOA's dawn, only four years old, but their ties to the Kyru always suggested more was in motion. The Mulsorians who created them to combat the Asthurr are direct descendants of the Kyru, which makes one wonder how exactly the Mulsorians came to pass, and why they created the Scitor the way it was...

One wonders what the Eternal Dream really is, how Xul`Amon came to pass, and why the Collective foresaw its own destruction and adhered to that future to the letter.

These questions will be answered in TOA itself.

The significance of completing this particular circle of history and lore cannot be underestimated. It is a major step to completing this part of the world.
