VotF Firegraft

I am aware after some searching that something like this was attempted a few years ago by some guy named Xerlick or something, but as all of his download links are broken and I probably have slightly different ideas than he did I'm gonna try this myself anyway.
As should be obvious by the title, I am attempting to convert the Vision of the Future campaigns, my personal favorites out of the entire SC modding community, into updated Firegraft forms. I've already accomplished this with Vision 1-4, doing things like giving Xaax and Strassenberg complete button sets, giving the correct abilities to units like the Nemesis and Marauder (although I suspect I may have gotten that one wrong since the story functionality of it is slightly unclear; I think it's supposed to have Recall and be a transport), removing abilities that really don't make sense (for example, Shampoo's Consume), and making more units buildable in Vision 4 such as Protoss units from the previously useless Gateway and Stargate and Infested Ghosts from the ICC.

However, when I reached Vision 5, Zeji-Mekani Conversion, I hit a snag. The Firegraft simply would not work. I set everything up exactly as before, and I was able to run the .exe as a Firegraft program and have the actual mod work in essence, but all the changes, including simple things like standard button sets on units like the Zeji Observer and Manta so I know it's not just because I did something wrong, didn't show up. Obviously, some property of the total conversion is keeping it locked in a Brood War patch from before Firegraft, but I can't figure out what it is, and the other restrictions that the mpq has placed on me are also odd. I am able to edit the .dat and files within the mod, but I can't delete any of its files, and I can't add music\ or Firegraft files.

Any ideas? If it helps, I'm using 1.15 since 1.15.1 didn't work for me with Firegraft for some reason and I'm too lazy to find the 1.16.1 Firegraft update.

So the changes aren't appearing in-game? That sounds like StarCraft isn't detecting the FG changes... I remember having a problem like that before while working on Gas 2, I'll see what I can figure out.

Also, I could upload Firegraft 1.16.1 for you, if you'd like.

Wait, there's a Gas 2? Ooh...
I don't think 1.16.1's Firegraft would help this particular problem, but I would like it for future use, if it's not too much trouble. Would I still be able to run/use/edit 1.15 FG exes?

There was. It's since been SC Ghost'd, and I don't plan on ever returning to it (definitely not in that form, anyway.)

As for firegraft, here you are. I've never tried it with 1.15 exes, but it probably wouldn't work. Save a backup before testing that.

It took me a while to get the Ghost joke. Nice one. Anyways, I've downloaded the Firegraft, and I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks.

Sorry for the long response time. The results are pretty simple; I was just being lazy.
No, I can't run the 1.15 Firegrafts anymore, and yes, I was stupid and didn't save backups. However, all the FG edits made in 1.15 are still viewable in the 1.16.1 program, so it was a simple matter of writing them all down and recreating them in a new mod, which worked just as perfectly (minus the .exe edits... Which means the Black Dream's shields can't recharge at batteries anymore... And the Marauder doesn't regain energy, so I have had to insert triggers in each map that manually recharge it every so often... But oh well). My main problem is that Zeji Conversion still won't accept FG edits at all (or music edits, and it won't delete files either).

Wait my files are broken... gotta pull out my old PC.. Now if I remember correctly I never did rerelease VotF 1-4 patches with Firegraft, (or however I released it, it has been too long).

Anyway I still have the Mekani patches I remade, which may help you with the Zeji Conversion..

Oh BTW read the readme in these files it may explain the problem with the saving the edits
The MPQ I believe is maxed out and cannot take one more file and only way is to delete files in it. Which what I had to do to get my FG edit to work.
