UPDATE: Since there are so many dudes, the matches will be best 1 out of 1, not best 2 out of 3. Since it's double elimination, you'll still always have a second chance (just never a third chance).

Re: Time for another StarCraft tournament!
ANOTHER UPDATE: Also, due to the size of the match and the unusual number of participants, I have decided that the bracket will be generated on site. The first two players in the channel will be matched up in game 1, the next two players in game 2, etc. up to 8 games (16 players). On the one hand, this means that not everyone will get to play, but on the other hand, it is unlikely that everyone was going to be able to play anyway. Don't worry about being late, though, because it is not likely that all 16 slots will be full immediately, and not everyone will get to play immediately anyway.
At the time of the tournament, I (and other officials) will try to make sure games get played, and to make sure there is one person observing each game. Dudes who can host games should probably observe first and play their own matches later. There should always be someone watching the channel to seed incoming players.
Also, please don't attempt to time your arrival in order to affect your seed. Obviously I can't prevent this, but since this method of seeding is the quickest and most efficient, it ought to be kept as random as possible. So just show up as close to 9 as possible (eastern time), and everything should go smoothly.
If you can't come on Tuesday and are miffed that you won't get to play, don't be bummed - if this one goes well, I will try to set up another tournament at a different time (like maybe on a Sunday instead of a Tuesday) to accommodate more/different people.

Re: Time for another StarCraft tournament!
Well Omen was AFK so I discussed it with other people. Anyway, the maps for the tournament will all be from WGT14, and will consist of the following:
Paranoid Android
Rush Hour III
Azalea
Gaia
Lost Temple
Reverse Temple (if necessary)
The maps can be obtained here:
http://www.wgtour.com/map/WGT14-broodwar_maps.zip (5MB)
Please download them, especially if you can host games on battle.net.
Refer to the bracket page to see which maps will be played when. Reverse Temple will be played only if the underdog wins match 16.
