Want ask you something once more, when Hokuto want help Hikaru in book 5, if I select third option, will it affect badly on some future events?

It's an in-between option between Accepting and Refusing and in some ways is better than either option.

Accepting effectively neuters all the traps in the dungeon, but you are automatically in Hokuto's debt.

Refusing does not change the dungeon in any way, and you are not in Hokuto's debt.

The Third Option has Hokuto weaken the traps (not to the point of hilarity, though), but you are not in Hokuto's debt. Of course the Third Option isn't automatically available, either (and I think it can't be available the first time around).

Don't like to be in someone's dept, so for my first walktrough I would Refuse (and don't want to change my class also), but this third option confuse me a bit. It's always hard for me to choose, because I always want to do as much as better. (Same thing with forgiving Kevin, which I decided to forgive.) I like what Hikaru says, when you select third option.

Hm, but I have third option with my first walktrough and I also could select 3 classes in book 4, but I picked same classes for all characters. Maybe because of that WorldEditor name (or maybe it's because I used Warrun to open all Blizzards campaign and this affected on your campaign somehow)? When I select other profile I don't have pages and can't select class in book 4, but it's too late to change, I noticed in book 3 and don't want to lose my progress.


PS: I was looking for opening theme in book 5, but your site says that Track and Source is Unknown and in campaing this song have strange name "tvysop". I've asked my friend and he send me this song:

Hilariously I managed to fix the Morkoth energy shield spell (used by Morkoth Legionnaires in Book 6), which made them a lot harder to kill than they are currently (ever since the spell broke I gave them a crappy Mana Shield as compensation).

Somehow I don't think that merits updating the campaign since all it does is make the mobs more annoying.

It also tangentially fixed the Boss version of the shield, but I can't even remember which bosses used it, but in any case it's clear that none of them really needed it since all it did was act as an HP buffer against Heroes without a Dispel item.

I was just replaying book 6 with a few characters I've never previously used, upon interacting with a boss I learned something I was completely unaware of before; Emperor Radik is actually a burning legion general who was send to Sorceria by Prince Malchezaar, I always thought of him being a native Satyr...guess you learn something new everyday...

yo Razorclaw X, im really grateful for giving us this awesome campaign. The story is so heartfelt. I have been playing this many times already with my brother a long time ago and now im playing it back again.

btw can i have some artwork of scaldar and shizuka... i want to remind my brother about his favorite hero in WoS he's currently influence to play D0tA2(idk if advertising here is bad) and i want moar Shizu(my favorite badass girl) pic just like your avatar pic you have.

Been a while since I've revisited WoS, came back to it around the end of 2016 and noticed the Hokuto and Shion side campaigns and it got me real excited! Thank you very much for more material with your characters after such a long period of time. I haven't touched Shion's one yet since I'm doing them in order, but I've got a small question concerning Hokuto's campaign files.

After completing through the Epilogue and the Credits, I noticed I had 8 files in my campaign menu (prologue, chapters 1-5, epilogue, and credits) but on the outside list where you choose the difficulty it says there are 9 files. I took a quick peek into it in the World Editor tool, and found the other file/Chapter that I apparently cannot access. I won't say much about it, but it looks like a famous event from the Warring States period; map file is wosx-07.w3x if it helps.

Is the 1.1 version update broken in that it doesn't have that file naturally part of the progression of the campaign? A potential bonus mission from completing all of the Heart of the Obelisk side quests? (Side note on that, I did all 4 of them that I saw and I don't believe I got anything from it so I'm wondering if that's continued into Shion's campaign as well before there's a reward or something from it.) Just wondering why I don't have access to that chapter/interlude and would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance in case I don't reply fast enough!

It's done through the Obelisk quests, although I think if you didn't complete them in order you have to either finish the last mission or watch the epilogue again on top of that.

One of the things I tried to do was adopt a sort of visual-novel style to these short campaigns, but as the name implies that would mean some sort of visual artwork. While the Hokuto episode had that in spades, the more recent one was rather devoid of any; the reason for this is there actually WAS a bunch of artwork made for it, but I threw it all out. Most of these scenes were part of the Intermission sections and if you see the final versions of these you probably have a VERY good idea why they were thrown out. The art in question wasn't really anything obscene, but paired with the text ultimately left a really sour taste, so I felt like they had to be removed.

The only thing that survived was the profile pic of Yue Fang. The Shizuka one was recycled from the main campaign.

The Omake skits were not written with any sort of visual aid of any kind which is why they're mostly all straight-text work, but then they were always extra material in the first place (mostly because I don't actually count on people having a WoS save with all the Feat of Strength achievements on them, which is how you get all of them).

I haven't played WoS since version 2, so i was happy to see a version 4! Congratulations on the update RazorclawX , it's great.

I wanted to ask two things.

So i played the first 2 books, and now i'm doing the new game plus to complete the achievements. On the 5th stage of book 2, the 'flying ninja waffles of doom' won't register no matter how many blade barriers i summon. I did 150 and still nothing.I'm supposed to summon them from the soul spire right? Could you check if the achievement works as intended?

My other question is, i've been using the visibility cheat 'iseedeadpeople' on my new game plus run. Will that affect the game in any way regarding affections, achievements, feats of strength etc?

Well crap, I figured I was breaking something. I know exactly how I broke that (I changed the unit ID for the Blade Barriers which is why it's not working). Will fix.

It shouldn't affect a thing except a couple of the maps the minimap might turn all-black.

Thank you for the quick fix!

I noticed two other minor bugs in book 2.

In chapter 7 part 1, there are some stone form gargoyles in the base. If i try to return them to normal form, the game crashes.

If you complete chapter two without ever building a necropolis, you can not build the spiders that gather from gold mines in subsequent chapters. Maybe that works as intended, but i thought i'd mention it.

Edit: I also have another question. In book 2 secret level, i get tendaro and higure as playable heroes, but i haven't been able to play with them in any other chapter of the first two books. Is there a way to get them as playable characters in previous chapters?

I'll see about fixing those. The Stone Form Gargoyles was a weird oversight; I only remembered placing them in one level in Book 1.

The Broodlings being available has nothing to do with the Necropolis, it has to do with collecting 60 journal pages. Them being available regardless of that is a bug.

They show up in Easy difficulty in the campaign. A big reason for this was to cut down on the number of Heroes, not to mention when I converted Kanna into a Hero (she wasn't originally) Higure was redundant. Then when I converted Kosseimaru into a Hero (he ALSO wasn't originally) unit Higure was completely useless.


Ed: fixed. Turns out if you watch the entire cinematics it doesn't disable the Broodlings.
