I know this sounds like a stupid question, but I keep getting everybody around me telling me things like:

"Get a battle.net registration, you won't regret it!"
"Register now. Seriously!"
"What are you waiting for!?"

What I do want to know is, what exactly is Battle.Net?

I don't understand why you don't just use google mixed with a passive understanding of what modern gaming culture involves these days, rather than asking other people to explain everything for you just go and experience it yourself.

isn't having somebody else spoon feed you the very definition of "modern gaming culture"? I always though experience was just points that you got in RPGs though
