Google is garbage. Their drive service causes user object corruption which leads to a ton of issues elsewhere. Stay clear of that company at all costs. Chrome is rubbish. Stick with Pale Moon and you get all of the benefits of addons like uBlock Origin without the Mozilla feces.

Re: Windows 10
Chrome accelerates GPU? That...would explain a lot, seeing as it did raise GPU whenever I was using chrome. Scaled down to a handful of tabs at most on my main desktop and have it closed whenever I'm on steam.
Interestingly enough, the only things that I don't get chrome-based issues on are my phone and my Macbook (for Graphic Design).
I only switched to Chrome from Firefox at my sister's prompting. Going to give Pale Moon a try and compare before I get to switching.

Yeah, Firefox really went downhill in the last few updates. From the abominable ui changes to the spyware and stuff it's a noman's land, now. Luckily there are some decent forks of it (Pale Moon is just one of the better ones) which perform a lot better and don't have the other junk.
