"Vyletongue also created a living symbol of his corruption called Noxxion that dwells beyond the orange crystals." -Cavindra

Noxxion was a corrupt water elemental created by the satyr, Lord Vyletongue. It lived in Maraudon. It was destroyed by adventurers.

The first Law of Robot Fight Club: A robot may not injure a gnome or, through inaction, allow a gnome to come to harm.
Image
Originally designed to protect, it has since been reprogrammed to terminate.

Crowd Pummeler 9-60 was a robot built by Sicco Thermaplugg. The original design, however, was created by his rival mekgineer, Oglethorpe Obnoticus, who built the original prototype as an unbeatable battlebot in a friendly robot fighting championship. Sicco stole was inspired by the design, and so he created his own, giant version of Oglethorpe's creation. Unfortunately, Sicco “lost control” of the robot, and it rampaged through the city. Before he could explain what really happened, the innocent Oglethorpe was banished from Gnomeregan, having taken the blame for Crowd Pummeler 9-60's rampage because of its design. Oglethorpe stormed out of the city, enraged about what he rightly saw baseless slander of his name. He left Gnomeregan for Booty Bay, never to return.

Sicco however, remained quite proud of the Crowd Pumeller's design, and as a result its chassis ended up being used for a wide variety of other robots, including the ever frustrating Arcane Nullifiers.

”Shirvallah, fill me with your RAGE!”

High Priest Thekal was the high priest and mortal champion of the troll tiger god, Shirvallah. He, along with several other high priests of the Gurubashi tribe, banded together to prevent the resurrection of the Blood God, Hakkar the Soulflayer, within the ruins of Zul'Gurub. He and his companions failed, however, and fell under the control of Hakkar.

Thekal was freed from Hakkar's control when adventurers raided Zul'Gurub and killed him, freeing his soul from Hakkar's grasp. Unlike several of his compatriots, Thekal seems to have remained dead.

He was also in possession of the Swift Zulian Tiger mount, which at the time was the only way a Horde player could get a giant riding cat.

”Pain will be the price for your insolence!”

Anzu was one of the few surviving gods of Draenor. Once worshipped by the arrakoa, few of his followers remnain, with most arrakoa having long since abandoned their old gods, in favour of, well, Old Gods. Much of Anzu's history had been lost in the destruction of Draenor, or else deliberately destroyed and covered up by the arrakoa who had turned their backs on him.

The Sethekk cult, while no longer worshipping their ancient gods, found a use for the fallen deity. They succeeded in summoning and binding Anzu under their control, and used him to attack the Emerald Dream. Druid adventurers were approached to investigate this situation, and eventually got together with four of their friends, and defeated the raven god within Sethekk Halls, in the ruins of Auchindoun. Anzu, however, was merely banished back to the shadowy realm from whence he came.

Image

Knowledge of Anzu was not lost in the alternate past of Draenor, however. Anzu, along with Ruhkmar and Sethe, were three ancient sky gods of Draenor. Sethe, the wind serpent, conspired to kill Ruhkmar, goddess of the sun, and sought Anzu's aid in the endeavour. Anzu pretended to play along, but instead tipped off Ruhkmar to Sethe's plans. With adequate warning, Ruhkmar was able to defeat Sethe when he ambushed her. Defeated, broken and dying, Sethe issued a curse, threatening to corrupt the world with his blood. Anzu, however, negated the effects of Sethe's curse by consuming Sethe's corpse whole. Only a single drop of blood escaped.

While Anzu had succeeded in containing Sethe's curse, the wind serpent's corruption was now inside him, robbing him of his ability to fly, and threatening to drive him mad. As a result, Anzu retreated into a shadowy realm of his own, and sent his children, the dread ravens, to destroy the remaining wind serpents.

Ruhkmar, in turn, created the arrkoa, creatures embodying her grace and Anzu's cunning. While the arrkoa once worshipped both Ruhkmar and Anzu, in time they abandoned the Raven God and came to worship Ruhkmar exclusively. Furthermore, they used the cursed pools created by the blood of Sethe as a means of punishment. The blood of Sethe seemed to have a similar effect on arrakoa as it had on Anzu, robbing them of their flight and threatening them with madness. Anzu was able to communicate with the outcast arrkoa, specifically the Talon King, Terokk, who had been betrayed and cast down. Anzu taught Terokk how to use shadow magic, and with his newfound power, founded a new home for the outcast arrkoa, the city of Sketiss.

Adventurers from Azeroth later aided Anzu in his battle against Sethe. Sethe's followers, the Sethekk, sought to resurrect their dead god, and take control of Anzu's physical form, in much the same way as they had in an alternate future. With the help of adventurers, their efforts to corrupt Anzu and resurrect Sethe were thwarted.

"If I fall into the abyss, I'll take all of you mortals with me!"

Razorgore the Untamed was a dragonspawn tasked with guarding the clutch of black dragon eggs stored within the Dragonmaw Garrison in Blackwing Lair. For some reason, there's an orb of mind control in this chamber that can be used to dominate Razorgore and get him to destroy the eggs. This seems like it was a serious security flaw, and Nefarian really should have known better.

Razorgore was mind controlled by adventurers, used to destroy the dragon eggs he was guarding, made to fight his own garrison, before finally breaking free, smashing the orb, and then getting killed by adventurers. All in all, he had a really bad day.

As today is some sort of American holiday, we have a party of adventurers resting and relaxing on the beach. As this is an American holiday, and not an Azerothian one, it's unclear what, exactly, they're celebrating. Perhaps their most recent kill?

Victory! For Agamaggan!”

Overlord Ramtusk was a battle scarred veteran quillboar warrior and commander of the Death's Head military, the quillboar death cult dedicated to the service of the Scourge. He's pretty much fought everything the Barrens could throw at him, from centaurs, harpies, orcs, taurens, and even chat, and he's survived it all. He even survived adventurers attacking Razorfen Kraul.

Image
”Spirits... guide my blade.”

Having survived countless battles, Overlord Ramtusk earned a promotion to Warlord Ramtusk. He also seems to have taken a more spiritual bent in his old age, calling on the aid of the spirits of two deceased members of the Death's Head, Aggem Thorncurse and Death Speaker Jarba, to aid him in battle. Despite this though, the old quillboar warrior finally fell in battle to the relentless efforts of adventurers to kill him.

High Astromancer Solarian was a warlock in the service of Prince Kael'thas. A master of void magic, Solarian succeeded in becoming one with the void and gained the ability to transform herself into a giant voidwalker.

Solarian likely participated in the initial assault on Tempest Keep. Considering the naaru's vulnerability to void magic, it seems likely that she played a role in the defeat and capture of Tempest Keep's naaru guardian, M'uru. She likely stayed behind to further study the naaru's dimensional ships. She was killed by adventurers when they stormed Tempest Keep.

Another source of untold, pointless, yet should have been easily avoidable, deaths?

"Reckless mortals! None may challenge the sons of the Living Flame!"

Majordomo Executus served as Ragnaros' majordomo and served as the Fire Lord's second in command. Baron Geddon, Ragnaros' former second in command, saw Executus' as his rival, and eagerly waited the day when Executus would fall out of Ragnaros' favour and he could reclaim his position.

Executus was tasked with ensuring that no one disturbed Ragnaros within the Molten Core. He failed in this task when forty adventurers managed to make their way in, defeat the Molten Core's other guardians, disable the defensive wards and finally defeat him. With no other choice, Executus called on his master to smash the intruders, only to be the first to fall to Ragnaros' fury. Successfully avoided being killed by adventurers, only to be killed by his boss' intolerance for failure.

Much to Baron Geddon's dismay, Executus' successor as Majordomo was Fandral Staghelm, a former leader of the night elves, and founder of the Druids of the Flame.

Let's just say TK taught me never to allow humans the opportunity to prove themselves capable of the most basic operations. It's no wonder the game continually got easier from thereon.

Void zones, stomp, living bomb, flame patches... when your strategy to defeat Alar hinged on a warrior using spell reflect to kill flame patches so your window lickers wouldn't flock to them like moths... yeah.

They can't help it, adventurers are drawn to danger! That, or they lack the sense necessary to determine what will or will not kill them.

You so little and puny... you no make good servants for Kormok!”

Kormok was an ogre necromancer and member of the Veiled Blades. He and the group were hired to steal Lord Valthalak's spellbook, which resulted in Lord Valthalak's death. Kormok was the party member who noticed Valthalak's awesome looking, and obviously magical, amulet. He wanted to claim it for himself, however his other party members wanted a cut, resulting in the party breaking the amulet, and dividing it between themselves. And thus, being cursed to be hunted and haunted by the spirit of Lord Valthalak, and his countless spectral assassins.

When the party dissolved, Kormok left with his piece of the amulet, and travelled to Scholomance, where he made his new home. Valthalak's spectral assassins followed him even there, however, and killed him right in front of Scholomancer's overseer, the lich, Ras Frostwhisper.

Kormok's spirit lingered within Ras' chambers however, and could be summoned using a Brazier of Beckoning. Adventurers were able to use one to summon his spirit, defeat him, and reclaim his piece of Lord Valthalak's amulet.
