Well...... guys you concentrated only on one issue and did not pay attention about my question. Going to repeat it again "Is there any issue of OS of PC if one wants to install it on any OS platform?"

I don't think Brood War go well with Vista, don't know... Mesk said so.Randallaron wrote:Well...... guys you concentrated only on one issue and did not pay attention about my question. Going to repeat it again "Is there any issue of OS of PC if one wants to install it on any OS platform?"

Old tools don't work with vista. Pretty sure the game itself works on most OS' just fine. I run win7 64 with no issues.

Starcraft and Brood War suffer some colour issues when run on 64 bit OSs. I recommend possibly having a second OS installed on a second drive (i.e. D drive as opposed to C drive) so that you can choose which OS to load whenever you start your computer.
I have 32 bit windows xp on one drive whilst 64 bit windows 7 is on the other. It helps if you want to be able to play older games.

I recommend Windows 98, myself.
