"Time to Die"

"Brothers, our purpose is clear! It is our divine duty to serve God, by destroying His enemies! We must show no fear! We must show no weakness! We must show no pause! March, brothers!
It is time!"

Time to die!

Your flag's in tatters,
Your parents look worse.
Seems like a good time
To up and join the force.

At the end of your tour,
You've committed more crimes
Than the average Nazi
In German wartimes.

What's the church say now?
You want forgiveness? Get religion.

Your skies can fall,
Your lives can end,
Your worlds can burn,
Look through my eyes!

Your skies will fall,
Your lives will end,
Your worlds will burn,
It's time to die!

Oh!

When I fall,
And oh, it will happen,
Do not weep!
Kill a thousand men!

Seek retribution
Amongst a million knaves.
You'll find it inscribed
On a bullet, on a grave!

What, ho, I will return,
For the lord is with me!

Your skies can fall,
Your lives can end,
Your worlds can burn,
Watch the priests fry!

Your skies will fall,
Your lives will end,
Your worlds will burn,
Oh, it's time to die!

Time to die!

...fuck religion!

"Forever Lost Amongst the Forest"

Long have I wondered,
Little have I done.
Reside, I, in this forest,
Watch me run, watch me run.
Run from the earth, run from the sky,
Run from she who seeks not to die.
Run from the dirt, run from the worms.
The girl I've loved and known, know no more.

She watches me now,
Even as I decline.
My life I once lived,
T'is no more, t'is not mine.
As I look, helpless, I recall,
The faintest breath upon her breast.
What now, yet mark, I resign.
Forever lost amongst the forest.

Trees are no company,
No company at all.
Perhaps, their blackened roots could 'blige,
And take me now, before I fall.
Take me now, before I turn.
Take me now, she takes me soon.
My sacrifice to her, immense,
Would not sate my own malsense.
Perhaps I'll take myself, instead.

I wait for her now,
Even as she reclines.
Her life gone up in flames,
She struggles now, struggle no more.
My body ceases to be mine own.
Her form collapses into its own.
As the land isolates its own,
Forever lost amongst the forest.

Forever lost... Forever unfounded...
Forever lost... Alive no more.

No more.

- "Time to Die" is about how religion gives excuse to kill without fear of damnation. The quote at the beginning is part of the instrumental opening to the track. I made it up, so if you've seen it before, it's coincidental.

- "Forever Lost Amongst the Forest" is a tragedy. It features the use of commas mid-line, which might throw off the flow when read, but it sounds fine when sung. Additionally, "'lige" is short for "oblige".

They're both death metal. Any feedback is appreciated.

I like the first one [Though I'm a Christian! LOL!]. It has that Turisas kind of feel to it.

It would be awesome if you can get this into mp3 format.

Try this place: http://www.punk-o-matic.net/custompages ... atic2.html

"Eleven After Twelve"

When you know fear, when you know pain,
This endless apocalypse shall be your new grave!

Bow down once, bow down twice,
Grovel and submit; the way of your life!

This world will see you for who you really are.
My favourite excuses took you too far!
All your people shall see how you knelt
On the day of eleven after twelve!

Come, my children! Your master calls!
Bring down this nobody, he threatens us all!
Fear him not, yet know him well.
You'll soon be at him; eleven after twelve!

Precursor...
You're all enslaved!

Ridding the universe of all these new leaders
Has grown quite tiring; I'll rest for a while.
In my stead, take my head.
Bear my command; you're all slaves to my hand!

Come, my children! Your master calls!
Bring down this nobody, he threatens us all!
Fear him not, yet know him well.
You'll soon be at him; eleven after twelve!

Look at my children; mighty warriors all!
Witness their glory, they inspire awe!
Crowds flood the streets, a dying crown bleeds.
Knowledge is sacred, so burn it at my feet!

"March of the Dead"

Looking past, your sense of, security in culture
Your soul is easily laid bare, now I finally see!
Look through me, look past me, but do not stare straight at me,
My expression of extreme guilt at your tragedy!

Oh!

And what will it take?
And who is to blame?
Your soul is to blame, your soul is to blame...
I will extract your fear and I'll make you pay!

We march!
There is no other way, we will take you
Down!
And with your corpse ungraved, you, will,
Rot!
I hope you hear and tremble in
Fear!
This is your answer, a declaration of
War!

Your empire will fall...
We have risen!
And it shall be claimed...
We will kill you all!

What will it take?
And who is to blame?
It is over now, it's all over now.
We can rest in peace, you'll rot in your
Grave!
